Notes:

This flashy mare made her debut to the show ring in the spring of 2016. She has shown very competitively in the .90m - 1.0m divisions with top placings at two "A" rated show in Canada. She has also competed in horse trials at the Pre-training (Novice) level placing in the top 3 at Canadian events. She is ready to move up to the 1.10m ring or Training level eventing.

Amber is an honest jumper who is brave and bold to XC fences but careful and agile in the stadium ring. She is light on the aids and easily makes tight inside turns.

Amber has a surplus of trail riding miles and road riding miles. She is simple and quiet at shows and settles in to new situations well.

Because of her sweet and simple demeanor, Amber would be suitable for an intermediate rider in a program or an experienced rider who wants to continue her development to higher levels. Amber excels in a program. However, she needs a quiet rider who understands that "less is more." She gets high-headed if you do not use a soft hand.

Amber does not have any dangerous habits and she is very well behaved off property and at competitions. However, it is suggested that her new owner uses a red ribbon in her tail until they get to know here. Although she has never kicked out while mounted she does not like it when other horses get too close to her hind end. For this reason Amber is kept separate from other horses when turned out.

Amber was purchased as a re-sale project over a year ago. Her current rider is 6' and prefers a larger mount. Her owner came down to Florida this winter to horse shop and does not have room to bring Amber home, so instead of putting more time and money into her she has decided to sell at a loss. Owner is willing to accept much less than than Amber's value

Amber is sound, healthy and UTD with no health concerns. Amber vets and flexes well but does have "mild changes" in the fetlock joints. Owner does not have access to x-rays but any interested parties are more than welcome to schedule a vetting/x-rays. According to the vets, Amber would be a suitable partner for a rider pursuing .9-1.10m jumpers, BN-prelim level eventing, or dressage.
