When the final results were revealed, we were astonished: Liberty Gold scored 9.33 on trot, 9.5 on canter, 8 on walk, 9 on Character and Temperament, 9.667 on Rideability, and a 9 on his willingness to work.

In the Fall of 2005 Liberty Gold made history at Dressage at Devon. He was undefeated in all 7 of his classes both in hand and under saddle. He scored an 83.9% in the class of 4-year old and older stallions shown under saddle. In the 4 and 5-year old geldings and stallion Materiale class, Liberty Gold continued to excel and scored a 78.8%. Liberty further set out to dazzle us in the Hanoverian IBC 4-year and older category with a score of 84.0%, followed by an 86.27% in the Cosequin/USDF BC Stallion Championship. Liberty Gold emerged as the 2005 Grand Champion as well as the 2005 USDF/Cosequin East Coast Stallion Champion!||   Liberty Gold is the son of Londonderry, also a winner in Verden and  his stallion licensing in 1997. As a 4- year old in 1999, State Stallion Londonderry won the riding horse performance test of the German Riding Championships and later that year won the Federal Championships of German Riding Horses, or Bundeschampionate in Warendorf. Two years later, Londonderry won the reserve championship in the 6- year old division in Warendorf. As a producer Londonderry is known for stamping his offspring with his modern type, exquisite rideability, and above average movement. Throughout the 2004 breeding season, Londonderry was the top Hanoverian stallion among German breeders with over 800 mares covered.

Like his sire Londonderry, Liberty Gold's offspring have proven to be exceptional. Several foals have received "top colt" or "top filly" during the American Hanoverian Inspection tours. During the inspection tour of 2009, Liberty Gold mares entered for inspection were all awarded scores qualifying them for "Elite Mare Eligibility" with the AHS. In addition to doing well on the tours, Liberty Gold's offspring have been showing and successfully competing at breed shows all over the U.S. In 2008, on the East coast, one of Liberty's fillies "Lucia ESE" (Owner: Laura Trumbower) took 1st place in the Hanoverian class in Raleigh, N.C. On the West coast, another filly "Lucette" (owner: Jo Ann Thomas) was high score Hanoverian and won her filly class with a score of 81.5 at the Los Angeles Breeders Classic during the Cool August Nights Show. Like their sire and grandsire, Liberty Gold's offspring continue to excel in the show ring and impress judges with their character and talent. Overall, Liberty Gold's offspring are marked with his tremendous movement, correct conformation, and friendly easy-going temperaments.

LOT 6: ES Toronto

2000 Bay Stallion (Now or Never M x Belisar / Solaris xx) Donated by Kathy St. Martin, Avalon Equine

Elite Stallion. Sire of one licensed son, 5 state premium mares, 15 auction horses. Highest Jumping Score of his stallion test.

  • CURRENT BID: $
  • Sells with NO RESERVE
  • LOT IS CLOSED

Record: Elite Stallion. Sire of one licensed son, 5 state premium mares, 15 auction horses. Highest Jumping

  • Type/Breed: KWPN
  • Size: 16:3 hh
  • Papers: No

Notes:

Toronto, an Elite Stallion with the Hanoverian Verband, is a Dutch stallion acquired by the Celle State Stud to further the jumping talent of the breeding program. His performance test single score in jumping was 9.3. This powerful bay stallion descends from the jumping horse producer “Now or Never M,” who is stationed in Holland. Toronto's grandsire is the prepotent Voltaire, a consistent sire of international jumpers with temperaments of gold. The damline is also very interesting - Toronto's damsire is Belisar by Saros xx, who is a full brother to Swazi xx, the sire of the Trakehner stallion Consul.

The scope and athleticism of Toronto can certainly be attributed to his sire, the Voltaire son Now or Never M. Voltaire looks back on a long lasting career in international show jumping ridden by Jos Lansink. He was among the top jumping horses at shows in Calgary, Stockholm, Lanaken, Helsinki, Wiesbaden and at Olympia in London. Voltaire obviously passed on his characteristic ability to perform to his offspring both in dressage and jumping. He is descended from the legendary Furioso II who like none before him influenced Germany's horse populations by producing offspring with enormous versatility and various purposes.

Now or Never M has many approved sons to his credit and is well on his way to establishing his own line in Hanoverian breeding. Now or Never M was champion in 's-Hertogenbosch in 1998. He was a stallion of great presence. He won the finals in the IAN trophy in the KWPN competition in the year 2000. In 2001, Now or Never M gained 7th place. He was one of the 12 selected KWPN horses for the World Championships at Lanaken in 2001 and he won first place in the Stallion Competition 2000/2001 in Giesbeek. Now or Never M has proven himself as a sire by producing a multitude of uniform foals with very good riding type, good quality and outstanding presence. They are known for having wonderful movement, good minds and exceptional jumping ability. Now or Never M currently has a very high breeding value of 152 points for jumping on the German FN’s ranking system and has shown to consistently improve the canter.

Toronto's dam is by Belisar, a Saros xx son. Saros comes from a strong line of successful steeplechasers, race winners, and sport horses. The infusion of Thoroughbred blood is essential in warmblood breeding and this particular line has had an excellent influence which can also be seen through the Trakehner stallion Consul.

The Now or Never M nick with Beilsar/Saros xx daughters has proven to be an undeniably successful cross producing the approved stallions Valentino, Winston Uccello, Alchimist and Vallado, in addition to Toronto.

Toronto gained the following scores at his performance test; character 8, temperament 8, willingness to perform 8, conformation 8, trot 6.33, canter 8 walk 7.67, natural jumping ability 9, free jumping 8,83, jumping manner 9, jumping technique 8.67, cross country 10. He won the jumping phase of the test which could be expected because of his outstanding pedigree. Among his offspring produced to date, he has one licensed son, 5 state premium mares, 15 auction horses.

LOT 10: Bliss MF

2006 Bay Stallion (Balou du Rouet/Old. x Argentinus / Pik Trumpf/Holst.) Donated by Maggie Fullington Marabet Farm

Reserve Champion of the 2012 North American 70-Day Stallion Test

  • CURRENT BID: $1,300.00

  • LOT IS CLOSED

Record: Reserve Champion of the 2012 North American 70-Day Stallion Test

  • Type/Breed: Zweibrucker
  • Papers: No
  • Registry: Zweibrucker
  • Reg #: 516037206

Notes:

Reserve Champion of the 2012 North American 70-Day Stallion Testing with a score of 122.31 (actual winner in points, 127.6 before 5% age deduction), Bliss MF was definitely the most well-rounded stallion, finishing second (by .81) in jumping with a score of 124.23 winning score was 125.04) and third in Dressage (by .31) with a score of 119.77 (second place was 120.08, first was 135.93 both with no age deduction). Equally as important were Bliss MF’s interior scores: 9 for character, 9 for temperament, 9.5 for willingness to work, 9 for constitution. His movement scores were 8.5 for trot, 9 for gallop and, of course the score we are most proud of, a perfect 10 for jump.

Born and raised at Marabet Farm, Bliss MF has been the ideal stallion from the day he was born. His athletic ability was apparent very early on but what we liked the most was his level headed intelligence.

His dam Ornella is the epitome of a calm, placid horse, with such beauty and strength of character. Her sire, Argentinus, is well known for giving his offspring great brains. He is also one of only two stallions in the world who have consistently produced International level competition horses in both dressage and jumping. On Ornella’s dam side you have the wonderful dressage stallion Pik Trumpf.

Bliss MF’s sire, Balou du Rouet, is proving to be an outstanding, prepotent stallion with offspring selling at record prices. His sire, Baloubet du Rouet, is one of the winningest horses in history with three (almost four) World Cup victories and an individual Olympic Gold medal.

The bloodlines of Bliss MF are about as good as it gets and his own offspring are already showing us that he is passing that along. This year every one of his foals was Premium; four were site Champions at their various registries and our filly Make My Day M was tied for BWP National High Score and the Futurity winner with the huge score of 87. Bliss MF will produce jumpers with incredible scope, hunters with that perfect form we all strive to get as well as hack-winning movement. He has also now produced two dressage prospects. This is a stallion who has it all and will pass it on to your foals!

  • CURRENT BID: $1,800.00
  • SOLD

  • Type/Breed: Hanoverian
  • Papers: No

Notes:

Herzensdieb

At 2005 Trakehner licensing, Herzensdieb was celebrated with overwhelming applause by the spectators and was awarded Champion Stallion by the judges. “This stallion is not just moving, but dancing,” was the enthusiastic comment. Breeding manager Lars Gehrmann added, “Endowed with the aura of something special, this stallion embodies the classical Trakehner upgrader type.” In 2006 he was the Reserve Champion of his 70-Day Stallion Test triumphing over champions from the 2005 Hanoverian, Oldenburg, Westfalian licensings as well as the top 10 Holsteiner stallions of the year! He won the 2006 Trakehner Championship for 3-year-old stallions, qualified for the Bundeschampionat for 6-year-old dressage horses and then trained up to the Advanced Level.

Sire Tambour won his licensing and was highly successful in jumping and advanced level dressage. Tambour went on to sire auction horses, Premium mares and successful sport horses, including the two licensed sons, Herzensdieb and Herzog.

Herzensdieb’s dam, SPS Herzensfreude, scored a 9.11 at her mare performance test and was successful in dressage. Granddam, SPS Herzenslust, is reigning champion mare in Schleswig-Holstein and also won her mare performance test. This noted damline has produced several licensed stallions, successful dressage horses and highly awarded breeding mares. In the third generation of Herzensdieb, there is a valuable inbreeding component over Elite mare Tilsit III.

Herzensdieb is a clear improver of type with amazing rideability. His daughters Heartbreaker and Helmi have won high honors at mare shows and he has sired five show winning Trakehner mares in various regions. His two licensed sons are Laxdoyen and Herzenswunsch. Herzenswunsch was champion of Southern Germany in 2012, Horse of the Year in Berlin-Brandenburg and mulitple Bundescampionat finalist.

Herzensdieb has a FN breeding value dressage of 142 points and is in the Top 10% of German dressage sires with offspring earning over 20,000 E to date. He is approved Trakehner, Southern Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

Hampton

His Highness’ successor, Hampton is the carbon copy of his sire. As a 3-year-old Hampton was Reserve Champion of his stallion test in Schlieckau with the overall score of 134.24. He competed and won several young horse classes with high scores. In 2009 Hampton qualified for the Bundeschampionat in highly competitive shows. Hampton was successful up to Inter. I and qualified in 2013 for the finals of the Nürnberger Burgpokal

He is bred out of an exquisite dam line which combines success in breeding and sport. His dam, SPS Red Chili, had a second licensed son in 2011, For Royal (by For Compliment). Damsire Rotspon was champion of his stallion test and has sired an impressive 21 licensed sons. Granddam SPS Carina is the full sister of renown stallion Compliment and is dam to the licensed stallion Lesodoro (by Londonderry). She competed as a family in the 2007 and 2009 Herwar-von-der-Decken Show with her daughters, winning every year. She is from the highly successful Ahnenholde family known for producing internationally successful horses and licensed stallions. Hampton’s offspring have fulfilled the highest expectations, producing great types with seemingly endless moving potential. In 2010, Hampton sired the winning mare (dam by Lauries Crusador xx) of the Two-Year-Old Class in Himmelpforten. In 2011, Hampton’s first son, H’s(dam by Weltrhum-Aarking xx) was licensed and competed successfully in young horse classes as well. For two years in a row, Hampton was able to place himself under the top 10% of German dressage sires with as core of 148 according to the estimated breeding evaluation made by the FN. Hampton is approved Oldenburg, Denmark and Sweden.

First Dance

First Dance was the hit of the Hanoverian stallion licensing 2006 with his remarkable movement and dressage potential. Currently under saddle with Inga Von Helldorff he is surpassing our expectations as to his quality and performance. His exciting bloodlines should be of great interest to Hanoverian breeders everywhere.

First Dance was enthusiastically received at the 2006 Hanoverian licensing. He scored a 9,0 for his walk,8,75 for the ridibility  and an 8,5 for character, constitution, trot and canter in his thirty-day-test.  According to the estimated breeding evaluation First Dance has a score of 147 points, making him a member of the leading group. In 2009 he qualified for the Bundeschampionat  and was  8th rank in the first round. First Dance won classes for young dressage horses in L-and M-classes.

He is the sire of auction foals, states premium mares and licensed stallions

His sire, Florestan I, has long since earned the reputation of a trademark stallion with his more than 70 licensed sons, including the dressage horse World Champions, Florencio I and French Kiss, more than 170 State Premium mares and countless sport horses such as Floriano/Stefan Peters/USA, the dressage team bronze metal winner at the WEG 2006 in Aachen.

First Dance is the first foal out of SPS Dorina, a mare who took the 1A prize each year from 2003 to 2006 at the show in Aurich-Tannenhausen. The dam's sire,Donnerhall, stands for the successful symbol of breeding and sport. A double World Champion in dressage twice under Kain Rehbein, he left more than 100 licensed sons behind. By the end of 2006, his offspring in sport had won more than 1.5 million euro.

Fairbanks

Now in the US! Oldenburg Licensing Champion in Germany, Exciting Young Sire awarded 1c Premium

Fairbanks was Champion of the 2009 Oldenburg Stallion Licensing in Vechta, Germany. He quickly became the crowd favorite with his spectacular performance, extravagant gaits, impressive jumping ability and willing temperament. Fairbanks completed his 30-Day Test very successfully. In a field of 49 stallions, including Bundeschampionate winners, Licensing Champions and top-priced stallions, he placed third with an overall score of 8.74. He repeated this success in 2011 at his 70-Day Test. He was the only stallion to score over 100 in both jumping and dressage, showing his great versatility and willingness under saddle. He has gone on to be successful to the advanced levels.

Sire Flemmingh, a most successful dressage stallion in the Netherlands sired international dressage horses Krack C (Anky van Grunsven) and Lingh (Edward Gal). A Flemmingh daughter was the overall Champion at the Dutch mare show.

Fairbanks’ dam, SPS Identify, was highly praised at her Mare Performance Test.

Damsire Inselfürst was the winner of his Stallion Test and successfully shown in Advanced Level dressage. Full sister to Fairbanks’ granddam Alegra produced stallions San Brasil, a Bundeschampionate participant and Celle stallion Los Angeles. In 2011, Fairbanks presented his first outstanding foal crop which were very representative of himself; large expressive foals with long lines, beautiful heads and necks and outstanding movement. At the 2011 Oldenburg licensing, Fairbanks was awarded the 1c-Premium due to his exceptional Stallion Test results, impressive foals and his overall development as a top breeding stallion. This was especially remarkable as he was not primarily breeding in the main Oldenburg breeding region and therefore had to stand up to strong competition for this award. Currently, his offspring just beginning their under saddle careers are exceeding all expectations. In 2017, we are looking forward to Fairbanks’ first foal crop since his importation to the United States! He is approved ARS and GOV.

Relevantus aka ZORRO

16.3hh Hanoverian Relevantus, who goes by showname “Zorro” has an extensive international record that includes the 2008 Hongkong Olympics, the 2010 WEG in Kentucky and a Mexican National championship with Federico Fernandez as well as multiple Grand Prix wins with Federico and Peter Wylde. His pedigree is full of high performance jumpers from his Holsteiner Sire Rabino to his Hanoverian dam line combining the highest indexed jumping lines from Grand Prix producers Rabino, Ramiro, Calypso, Ladykiller xx, the Hanoverian F line, Inschallah AA, Espri and Lugano I.

Relevantus is a leggy almost black bay with a generous kind disposition and according to Peter Wylde the most ridable Grand Prix horse he ever competed. You can see in his jumper videos that he goes around very quietly and does the 1.60 meter grand Prixs almost hunter like.

Prior to his International Grand Prix career Relevantus was licensed and finished his 30 and 70 day performance test with great results. 30 day test 8.15 overall and 70 day test 109.2 for Dressage, 119.96 for jumping 113.44 overall which shows his versatility and ridability.

Wild Dance

Wild Dance was the Champion of his Stallion Performance Test in Germany with a dressage index of 147.57. He also received a 9 for jumping. Wild Dance’s sire, Wolkenstein II, was also Champion of his performance test and known as one of Weltmeyer’s best producing sons with 46 licensed sons of his own. Wild Dance’s dam, States Premium mare Milva, by Matcho x, has Gotthard and Abhang III on her maternal side. This nick created many upper-level dressage competitors, top producing mares, licensed stallions, and has proven to be exceptional. Wild Dance qualified for the Bundeschampionate and placed fourth in the finals. He is an accomplished international competitor, winner of six Grand Prixs and many placings in Europe. In 2005, he was Reserve Champion at the Neurenberger Burg Pokal Finals with Hubertus Schmidt. They showed in this prestigious German show circuit with the highest qualifying scores of any competitor that year, routinely scoring over 75%. Wolkenstein II produces great rideability, gaits, conformation and type as witnessed by his high breed values in those areas. Wild Dance passes on type, quality gaits, exceptional temperament and willingness to work which result in typey high-performance offspring. In 2011, Wild Dance had less than 50 offspring because of his owner’s focus on performance. Yet, with only 24 offspring in competition, 10 had successes and four are placing at the Grand Prix Level. At only seven years old, Will Be already placed at Grand Prix, and by 2011 had 43 placings and nine victories. Seven mares sired by Wild Dance became States Premium mares in Germany. In 2007, he produced Windsor VT, the highest-scoring Premium colt on the entire Oldenburg N.A. tour, and Reserve Champion at Devon. Deyonce (Wild Dance/Contucci) became one of only three Swedish Diploma mares in the U.S. and Wild Gambol HU became an EMC and won the Five-year-old Future Dressage Horse class at Devon in 2012.

Sire of Wruby Noon HU, 2015 Nationwide AHS 2-Year-Old Futurity Champion

Pablito

Pablito represents the performance horse producers Pablo, HLP Reserve Champion, and Arsenik, HLP Champion. Pablo, is North America’s top Grand Prix and stallion producer. Pablito’s damsire, Arsenik, produced Grand Prix jumpers and his great type. Pablito’s famous grandsire Pilot was the youngest millionaire ever in German history and producer of 198 Grand Prix offspring. Amsella, Pablito’s dam, and her full sibling, Aerobic 3, both competed successfully at Grand Prix Level. Pablito won and placed in several jumping shows in Germany. He won the WCSHC Senior Stallion Championship and the USDF Reserve. The Hanoverian Verband’s past Vice President, stallion raiser Hans Heinrich Bruening, bought a Pablito colt from his first crop. Pablito produced West Coast Oldenburg Champion Prime Time and breed show winners Pouly Fouse R (Pablito/Kalypso), Phoebe (Pablito/Classiker), Persnickety (Pablito/Schoenfeld), Perfect Song (Pablito/Sandro Song) and others. His offspring under saddle have received high marks for rideability. Several have won classes in dressage and hunters. Papageno, purchased at the Verden auction, became a dressage amateur show champion with his new owner in Canada. Faraoh R was the two-time winner at the Five-Year-Old Young Horse Jumper Classic at The Oaks and the highest ranked AHS-registered horse in the International Jumper Futurity (IJF) Young Horse Championships in 2006. Pablito himself was the IJF 2006 Young Jumper leading AHS sire. Over the last seven years, more than 35 Pablito offspring have earned Champion foal or mare titles at various inspections including 2006 EM Ping Pong R and 2005 Elite Eligible Princess Pei Pei R. Eleven AHS-inspected mares are either Elite (3) or Elite Eligible (8). Of this group in 2008, five mares were inspected with four becoming Elite Eligible, one was accepted in the JBP, two became Elite Mares, and two ranked in the top seven for inspection scores nationwide. Premium Oldenburg mare Passion earned 10s for jumping from all judges at her MPT, and 2010 REM MPT Champion EMC Pavillion R received 9/9 for jumping. Pierre was shortlisted for the Pan Am Games, EMC Ping Pong R won several international events, Bella Patriot won her first FEI event and Peacemaker R is leading the nation in the preliminary division earning 2nd place in his 2012 FEI debut.

Rubignon

Rubignon - Rubinstein/Donnerhall/Pik Solo, 4 generations of Grand Prix and international performance combined with fantastic character, temperament and type. Rubignon's Dam "Una Donna' is from the "Utoba" stamm with Samun xx and Vollkorn xx on the bottom. This Stamm produced the licensed stallions Azzarro, Landtinus, the International jumper Figaro's Boy successful with Ludger Beerbaum and from Una Donna herself Racoon, Una Placida a successful jumper and Rubignon.

Rubignon was listed for the Swedish Dressage team in 2008 and 2009 and has 17 GP wins and placings including international wins in his name. He is approved with multiple registries and tested in Sweden with 9's for jumping. His temperament is superb, true to his sire, his movement even better than Rubinstein said German Oldenburg Judge Evelin Vollsted during Rubignon's licensing. Rubignon was most popular breeding stallion for SWANA in '02 and '03. He bred in Germany and Sweden where he also had a successful Grand Prix career. Rubignon produced lots of premium foals and inspection champions for various registries, successful dressage horses and several licensed son's, including the Swedish stallion Channon, successful at the young horse championships and Canadian Warmblood stallion "Ratu". "Replay" was selected for the Swedish team and the highest placed Swedish combination in the Baltic GP championships. Premium colt "Royal Flush" Rubignon/Cheenook was written up in the Oldenburg horse magazine as the most generous mover on the tour. "Roxette" Rubignon/Warkant was champion mare at her AHS inspection. Many inspection champions since.

LOT 14: Choice of Schwarzenegger or Dauphin

(See the Stallion Page for pedigrees) Donated by Ruth Hanselpacker, Aileron Stables

  • CURRENT BID: $750.00
  • SOLD
  • LOT IS CLOSED

  • Type/Breed: Hanoverian
  • Papers: No

Notes:

ES Schwarzenegger

This fabulous Hanoverian stallion has it all going for him. Standing 17hh with a medium frame and short strong back he has proven himself through testing, performance, and his offspring.

Schwarzenegger placed 3rd in his testing at Redefin with an impressive score of 125.24, scoring a 9 and 10 for temperment and character. He went on to compete successfully with Anna Fieldbekorn at Intermedaire I.

His sire Sion, famous for his dual purpose ability, produced other greats such as Sterntaler-Unicef and Sir Oldenburg (who shares a similar dam line as Schwarzenegger). Schwarzenegger's damline of SPS Caprice/SPS Garde/SPS Gandria have been phenomenal with 11 approved stallions, and super stars Sunrise VA (Singular Joter), and El Paso (Escudo I). You cannot go wrong with this influence of outside blood in both your dressage or jumping breeding program.

In his offspring, he has produced both advanced level jumpers and dressage horses that have his wonderful willing mind. Schwarzenegger is known to improve the canter in a big way, raise the neckset, shorten the back, throw his perfect mind and beautiful head, and add dual purpose ability. He is on the "Topliste Springen" for 2012.

He stands in PEI, Canada with both fresh and frozen semen. We are easily able to ship overnight anywhere in both Canada and the US with Fedex.

UPDATE: Schwarzenegger is on the "Topliste Springen" again for 2014. This is his third year on the list of top jumper producers for the Hanoverian breed. He is one of two stallions standing in NA on the list.

Dauphin

Dauphin is a typey son of the legendary Donnerhall from an outstanding damline developed at Groenwohldhof where his sire stood for breeding.

Marefield Meadows, his breeder, was fortunate when Dauphin was invited to join 49 other colts in the 11-Month Stallion Performance Test at Adelheidsdorf. He was the only privately-owned stallion of the group. The German breeders who followed his progression were favorably impressed with Dauphin’s swinging back and happy attitude, saying, “For him it’s like play; the riding is a game to him.” He was also praised for his kind nature and good manners. Dauphin finished the test in fourth place and was invited to remain at Celle on breeding lease. Dauphin has been an outstanding producer of character, rideability, willingness, correctness and movement. He passes his exemplary conformation, type, and wonderful disposition onto his offspring. He tends to be a refiner and produces rideable dressage horses in the 16-16.2hh range. He has produced 489 German Hanoverian offspring as of the 2015 publishing of the Hanoveranner Hengst Book. Of the 102 mares that are in breeding, 28 of them were awarded the coveted States Premium Title. His two approved Hanoverian sons, Dallmeyer and Don Presidente are continuing to carry on this line. Dauphin is on the Top List of the Hanoverian breed for type with an outstanding score of 132, and a 143 for fundament! HbK“A”

Notes:

Viva Voltaire - our farm’s best kept secret. Viva Voltaire offers his outstanding temperament, movement, versatility and athleticism to your discriminating breeding program. Viva’s extraordinary jumping pedigree combines the famous bloodlines of Voltaire, Grannus and Argentinus. All three stallions have sired international show jumpers.

Viva Voltaire has proven himself in the jumper ring, winning the Ontario Jumper Championship for Four- and Five-Year-Old horses as a four-year-old(!) and claiming the Reserve Championship title in Ontario and nationally at the Royal Winter Fair as a five-year-old. Due to an injury he was retired to stud as a six-year-old. Two offspring from his first foal crop competed at the 2011 Pan Am Games in dressage. Viva’s Salieri W and Tom Dvorak achieved the highest score for the silver medal Canadian team and finished fourth individually.

Viva Voltaire is the sire of AHS approved stallion Vive Victory, who demonstrated almost unlimited jumping potential at the inspection as per Der Hannoveraner. Many “Vivas”, such as Viva’s Primus, Vivaldi and Saltorello have won numerous “A” circuit Hunter Championships in the U.S. and put Viva Voltaire on the USEF Hunter Sire ranking.  Otherwise was Champion of the Ultimate Hunter Challenge in Canada two years in a row.  Many of Viva’s offspring have done very well in the young horse jumper classes in Canada and the U.S.; Viva has produced top “A” circuit equitation horses.

We have found our Viva offspring to be extremely marketable both as dressage and hunter/jumper prospects. Viva typically produces very athletic horses with lots of chrome, good looks, excellent movement, good technique over jumps and the most wonderful temperament.

For further information on Viva Voltaire and his offspring, please visit our website. Both excellent quality cooled and frozen semen is available. Semen can be shipped from Canada into the U.S. without any permits and is shipped out of Buffalo, N.Y., as a domestic shipment.

LOT 20: Choice of Sir Gregory, Chaccos Rubin DSF, or Valentino

Notes:

Choice of Sir Gregory, Checkmate, or Chacco’s Rubin DSF

Sir Gregory

As a three-year-old Sir Gregory was the convincing winner of his 30-Day Test at Neustadt/Dosse, with very high scores in every category, giving him the high overall score of 8.85, highest score in the dressage phase of 9.08, and the very good score of 8.35 in the jumping phase.

He has also enjoyed much success in the young dressage horse classes in Germany. At his first show in Canada, Sir Gregory was able to earn his permanent breeding approval, qualifying for the national championships with an overall score of 8.1.

Sir Gregory has done very well with rider/trainer David Blake showing in California. His first year showing there he won at Third and Fourth Level with high scores. In 2012, as a seven-year-old, Sir Gregory made his debut at Prix St. Georges, winning his first time out. Sir Gregory scored up to 74.41% at PSG in 2013. He is showing everything needed to be a very successful Grand Prix Horse. We look forward to a bright future in the show ring for this young stallion.

Sir Gregory’s first foals arrived in 2009. He had a very high percentage of Premium foals by the Oldenburg Verband. He also sired the Champion colt in Zweibrucken, who was the overall Reserve Champion foal. That colt is now an approved stallion in Germany. In 2010 Sir Gregory again had a very high percentage of Premium foals in Germany, and one of his colts was selected for the Oldenburg Elite Foal auction. In 2011 Sir Gregory’s highly anticipated first North American crop arrived, and he clearly stamped his offspring. They have beautiful heads and necks, are modern in type, very correct with long legs, very elastic movers with three excellent gaits, and are also stamped with Sir Gregory’s excellent temperament.

He was the leading sire of Premium foals with the GOV in 2011, siring several Foals of Distinction, as well as many Premium foals in other studbooks. In 2012 he continued to prove his value as sire, as again he was the leading sire of Premium foals with the GOV, siring many Foals of Distinction who were also named stallion prospects.

Chacco’s Rubin DSF

Chacco’s Rubin DSF is a modern type stallion, tall and leggy with a beautiful head, kind expressive eye and a good amount of bone. He shows a huge scope and excellent form over fences. Chacco’s Rubin DSF shows three very good gaits, very elastic with a good hind leg. He is a very well-rounded athlete displaying excellent rideability, love of his work, and is very kind in nature. He was recently named the Reserve Champion of the 2015 Stallion Test in Oklahoma with high scores across the board. We are looking forward to presenting him in the show ring this year.

His sire is the immensely successful jumper stallion Chacco Blue who quickly established himself as a star from a young age. After winning the jumping index at his stallion performance test, Chacco Blue won over 30 show jumping classes judged on style and ability, qualified for the Bundeschampionat and proved to be one of the best of that year. In 2004 at the Bundeschampionat he won the final qualifier with a score of 9.2. Chacco Blue then went onto a successful Grand Prix career with several riders winning over 30 classes. In 2011, with rider Andreas Kreutzer, he won 3rd place in the Grand Prix of Aachen, as well as high placings in Hagen, Hamburg, Redefin and Calgary. Chacco Blue has proven to a top sire of sporthorses. Many of his offspring are winning in the young jumper classes through Grand Prix Level.

Through his dam SPS Aluna, Chacco’s Rubin DSF carries the top blood of Quidam’s Rubin/Continue/Sion. His damline is from the direct damline of the well known KWPN stallion Contango. Chacco’s Rubin DSF was overall Reserve Champion of 70-Day Test at Silver Creek Farm in 2015 (120.29). He finished 2nd in Jumping (122.04) and 2nd in Dressage/Rideability (120.04). His highlights from the 70-Day Test include Director scores Character 9, Temperament 9, Willingness to work 9, constitution 9, Free Jumping 9, Stadium Jumping 9, Cross Country 9, Walk 8.5, Trot 8, Canter 8.5, Gallop 9, Test Rider Rideability Jumping 9, Dressage 10. We are looking forward to Chacco’s Rubin DSF’s first foals arriving spring 2016. For more information please see our website www.dreamscapearm.com.

Valentino

Valentino is in the top 1% of all German Sires breeding index 154

Valentino is a very striking modern type stallion with a lot of presence and who is also very well known for his intelligent kind nature. A powerful jumping stallion who earned a spectacular 9.6 for jumping ability and 9’s for temperament and willingness at the 2005 Stallion Performance Test in Adelheidsdorf, Valentino easily won the jumper division of the test, and was the Reserve Champion overall out of 48 stallions. In the Show Jumping portion Valentino scored 141.47, for the dressage phase he scored a 121.09 and overall Valentino scored an impressive 136.89. Making him an Elite stallion.  Following spectacular performances in young jumper riding classes at elementary and medium level with scores up to 9,  Valentino then went on to very successfully compete up to advanced S level show jumping under Karen Biermann. In 2012 the pair placed 4th in the Kl.S* in Kemnitz.. Always willing with a great work ethic, with a fantastic bascule and an apparently endless potential, Valentino captivated all those who watched him working.

Valentino is not only an impressive jumper himself, he is also an outstanding sire. Out of his first foal crop in 2007, several of his offspring were admitted to the 2007 Hanoverian Spring Auction as Elite foals, and two of them went on to become licensed stallions a couple of years later. His son out of a Stakkato mare was honoured as a Premium stallion and sold for 100,000 Euro. In 2011 stallion son Viscount, was named a premium stallion at his licensing and then sold for 320,000 Euro’s. Valentino has produced 3 licensed sons, 32 States Premium Mares/Candidates, as well as 40 foals and 50 horses who have sold through the Hanoverian auctions.

Valentino made the top 25 list of WBFSH sires for eventing in 2015, and is also rated in the top 1% of breeding stallions in Germany. He has rated in the top 1% of German breeding stallions for the past several years with a jumper breeding value over 150. His offspring excel in hunters, show jumping and eventing and include medalists at the Young Horse Event Finals and qualifiers for the World Young Horse Championships. Valentino has produced numerous 1.40-1.50 jumpers and 2* eventers. In North America Valentino has sired Sutton Place, champion as a 5 year old in the Pregreens at WEF and Capital Challenge, also a multiple champion under his amateur owner. As well as top hunter Valentino Now who won the 2015 Canadian Hunter Derby Championships and numerous other hunter derbies in 2015.

Valentino passes his three excellent basic gaits, his technique at the jump and his excellent type to his descendants, they are very good minded rideable horses who like to work.

Harvard

Harvard is sired by Elite Hengst Hohenstein I, the 2002 Trakehner Stallion of the Year with an impressive Dressage Index of 148.29. Harvard's dam,Hauptstutbuch Carina, is sired by famed refining stallion Cardinal xx and in addition to Harvard, also produced the Licensed Hanoverian Stallion Davis Cup, two State Premium daughters, the Reserve Federal Champion Dakapo, three Advanced level dressage horses and the showjumper Top Gun.

Performance tested in 1999, Harvard scored a perfect 10 for Temperament and 9's for Character, Willingness and Rideability. He was Vice-Champion of the 2000 Oldenburg Main Premium, a Bundeschampionate Finalist at age 4 and 5, Advanced Dressage Champion of Ontario, Grand Champion Stallion at the RAWF and Long-Listed for the Canadian Dressage Team.

Harvard progeny are elegant in type, kind in temperament and inherit his fluid walk. Harvard has produced Licensed sons, numerous State Premium and Elite mares, Special Premium and Premium Mares, Elite Auction Foals, a Bundeschampion, finalists at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses, successful International Advanced Dressage competitors, high scoring Oldenburg mares, Foals of Distinction and legions of Premium Foals. Daughter, Halifax won the 2006 Bundeschampionate. He now has four offspring competing successfully at Advanced Levels in dressage in Germay. Harvard is a sought after sire of broodmares, his daughters continue to develop his legacy in Europe bringing forth Licensed Sons, St.Pr. Mares, Elite Auction Foals and the 2008 Champion Filly at the German Foal Championships. The Champion of the 2013 South German Stallion licensing was dam-sired by Harvard.

Dannebrog

Dannebrog, a young dressage stallion, is already showing great talent that reflects his sire and dam lines' legendary sucesses. "At the stallion tests in Adelheidsdorf...DANNEBROG achieved a dressage index of 135.74 points, finishing as third best dressage stallion and especially showcased because of his extraordinary character, his fantastic rideability and his three supple and elastic basic gaits, always maintaining the rhythm combined with a very soft contact with the bit. " - DMJ Horses

Dannebrog's sire Don Schufro has for many years been at the very top of the German breeding list for dressage stallions. This largely framed stallion, who is stationed at the Blue Hors Stud in Denmark, graduated as a superior winner in the dressage performance test in Adelheidsdorf with a total of 154.93 points. The mare line of this stallion is also highly approved due to the very close relationship with Don Primero and Sunnyboy. Don Schufro’s pedigree ends in an old Vornholz mare line.

Dannebrog’s dam is by Brentano II. This stallion has clearly left his mark on Dannebrog due to exterior and outward appearance. Brentano II was Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2003 and has in addition to Weltmeyer and Londonderry made a significant impression with base at the insemination centre in Ankum. Above all Brentano II leaves an apparent mark on the mare side according to expression and exterior. As a base for this mare line lie the well acknowledged Kassette-family from the Main Stud Trakehnen. Out of numerous competition horses and highly approved mares, the most famous offspring of this mare line is probably Kostelany. This stallion was awarded the title Trakehner Stallion of the Year 2009 and is among others father to Gribaldi and grandfather to Tortilas, who is the word of mouth these days. But also Karon, the Trakehner Champion Stallion K2 and Oldenburg Stallion of the Year 2003, Don Kennedy, have their roots in this dam line. (DMJ Horses)

Dannebrog's dam, Byzantina, has produced 3 Staatsprämie mares.

Navarone

Breed to Navarone for Versatility, Trainability, Jumping, Dressage and Beautiful foals that will excel in sport.

Navarone produces athletes! He has produced international Grand Prix jumping and Eventing champions (example: Thunder III, Touchable, Navarre). They also excel in dressage like himself. Navarone's offspring have his correct conformation, gorgeous head, powerful gaits along with a temperament and willingness to match.

This is an athletic beautiful stallion! He is a favorite in the barn and shows. He loves people. His trainability is just so easy anyone could ride him. With his athletic abilities and trainability, he is a winner in any sport!

Navarone has jumped successfully to 1.40m level but showed us his love for dressage and competed to Grand Prix dressage. Navarone produces power behind, nice length of neck, pretty offspring and the best character/personality you can find.

The Navarone offspring love people and love to work. It is not only fun to take Navarone to the shows, but also for his offspring. He is stamping his foals with the best character you can find! Producing KWPN 1st Premium and Top Five Offspring. The amateur and the professionals love his offspring. Fantastic trainability and well balanced young.

Dante MG

This black stallion is turning eyes at the show, not only with his striking good looks but his super character. He was a favorite with his german rider at the stallion testing.  He competed to 1.1m with rider Carly Fisher. In 2016 his new rider Anna Smith will be bringing him to the higher levels. Height is no problem for Dante MG! He easily cleared 1.4 m at the stallion testing with lots of room to spare. He is modern and a fancy mover. The dressage riders like him too. His offspring have been first premium and Top five with the KWPN and also 2nd place in the USDF dressage foals in the nation!  The offspring are super movers that will excel in the breed shows and the sport with his talent.

Dante's sire Chin Chin had a very impressive jumping career. Together with his former owner and rider, Jaime Azcarraga from Mexico, this combination participated for more than five years at international level. In 1988 Jaime Azcarraga won five consecutive times in the North American League on the World Cup circuit and competed in Seoul at the Olympic Games where they placed sixth individually. Four years later, they competed again at the Olympics in Barcelona. In 1990, Chin Chin and Jaime Azcarraga started in the first edition of the World Equestrian Games in Stockholm.
