2009 Brown Gelding (Stephen Got Even x Annsley Bear) 15.3+ hh - Consigned by Tiffany Horton, WATCH Ranch- Texas
* NEW VIDEOS * Ridden by aN amateur in a program. Professional lessons for dressage and jumping with separate trainers on a regular basis. Ridden on a cattle ranch.
This horse was briefly on the track as a youngster and then ended up hanging out at the stud farm where he was born for a few years before they decided he needed a job. Thus, he has low miles for his age.
He is sound barefoot. I've not seen him take a lame step in the over a year that he's been at my rocky Texas Hill Country home. He is intelligent and beautiful with clean legs and a friendly disposition. He stands 15.3+ hh and is nicely proportioned. His legs are clean and tight. I believe he will easily make a nice jumper and he also has potential as an all around horse. He has athleticism and stamina to spare, so I've wondered if he might be good for endurance. All that being said, he is not a spooky horse and while he is what I consider "plenty of horse" he is not the hot, fire breathing TB of which stereotypes are born. He has been ridden out on a cattle ranch and hacked on the grounds of a few equestrian centers.
This horse has been ridden by a busy amateur in a program. He's gone to professional lessons for dressage and jumping with separate trainers on a regular basis. He has schooled fences in groups, but has mostly been ridden in a private lesson situation. There are multiple videos available of him jumping grids and some footage of flat work, but he is still green. He has not really jumped courses and while his changes seem to come naturally much of the time, he has not yet been schooled on changes.
He'd be a great horse to make an up and coming professional look good, but is also well mannered enough for a talented amateur in a program. I'm looking to get him to a place where he has his own person to take the time to develop his talent. I agreed to take him on sight unseen and he is too small for me to ride comfortably. I was looking for a prospect for eventing and ended up with two. My job does not allow me the time for multiple horses in training.
I think Fearsome Charisma would make an excellent endurance horse, and give those Arabians a run for their money!
He is great on trails both alone and in company.
Please note that rider in video and photos is approximately 6' tall and near 200#. He's just not quite tall enough for this rider, therefore is selling with a low reserve to a good home only.
