NCSU REEDY CREEK (""Reedy Creek"") is a 2017 AQHA registered bay gelding. He has a classic Quarter Horse build and the potential to go in practically any direction. He has been through an undergraduate class at NC State University where he has had practice loading onto a stock trailer, leading, working on ground manners, and picking up his hooves.
He is a wider chested and he is powerfully muscled in his shoulder with a long hip, short back and more depth in the heart girth and hind rib. He displays good muscle development in his quarter as well as great body capacity. He has a shorter face and nice neck. Reedy Creek has well laid shoulders that gives him a wider range of motion that results in a smoother wide and help remain sound in the future. He is cleaner about the knees and hocks, with a flatter cannon bone and a longer, more efficient and ground covering stride. His neck blends smoothly at the shoulder and he stands straight and clean. He has potential in stock type classes, competitive trail and other athletic events.
|MA BEGO TOO, Reedy Creek's sire, is a foundation bred Quarter Horse that has shown successfully in local competitions. BLAZINGHOTBARBIEDOLL, Reedy Creek's dam, is a pleasure-bred beauty sired by the outstanding BLAZING HOT (NSBA Hall of Fame, multiple Congress and World championship titles).

Professional Training Comments:
NCSU REEDY CREEK has been through numerous undergraduate classes at NC State University where he has had practice loading onto a stock trailer, leading, working on ground manners, and picking up his hooves. His two students this semester for the ANS 411 class has zero horse experience. He was challenging enough for them to gain some basic horse experience while he was very patient with their lack of experience.
