2016, 15.3 (and growing) Canadian sport horse gelding.
His Sire, Acore KF has the ""who's who"" of pedigree that includes Corland, Landgraf I, Emilion, Wellington, and Cor De La Bryere. His Dam, Gijit also has a very strong pedigree with names of Gringo and Novalis (Jus De Pomme x Ramiro Z X Nimmerdor). Leo has the pedigree that everyone desires for a lovely jumping prospect!
This stunning younster has all makings to make a lovely junior or amateur mount. Leo is THE barn favorite having an ""old soul"" demeanor with his laid back and willing mentality about everything that is thrown at him. Leo has three lovely gaits and shows an easy change when moving freely. He has a 10+ jump over fences with a correct bascule, strong hindquarter and a knee to chin front end. Leo was lightly backed over the fall and was quietly walk/trotting around the ring on his first ride! Leo will be ready to begin his undersaddle career in the spring as a rising 3 year old.
Leo has a great foundation put on him and is very easy to handle. He is good for the vet/farrier, crossites, ground ties, leads, loads, clips and jogs nicely next to his handler and gets along with both mares and geldings out in the field. Leo is always willing to please his handler/rider and already acts like a seasoned pro even at a young age. Leo will be the ultimate amatuer friendly mount for someone to bring along with trainer supervision that is looking to be competitive in any discipline.
Both parents stand 16.2-16.3 and Leo expected to mature around 16.2
Leo has correct confirmation and has zero injury/medical/lameness history. He is an easy keeper, good feet and is UTD on everything.

Professional Training Comments:

  • Leo has about 30 rides under his belt this fall and was quietly w/t undersaddle.
  • He was put back out in the field to mature more and begin his undersaddle career in the spring.
  • He has been handled since birth and has excellent ground manners.
  • Even though is very well behaved, I would recommend a rider with trainer suprivison to bring his undersaddle career along as he is young and green.
