AQHA / NRHA 2008 Sorrel Gelding (Tidal Wave Jack x Star CD) (Indiana)
NEW INFO: NRHA $9,594, 3rd Congress Open Ranch Riding; Amateur ROM points Reining & Ranch Riding. 8th Congress Reining Futurity,
A flashy sorrel gelding, with tons of athleticism and style. He is sired by the WEG Gold Medal Winner Tidal Wave Jack. This gelding was trained as a 2 & 3 year old by two of the top reining trainers in history and was the highest selling horse at the 2010 NRHA Futurity, selling for 6 figures. He has earned nearly $10,000 in his lifetime (took 3rd at Congress as a 3yo) and he has plenty of showing left to do. Solid spins that will zero or +1/2, beautiful circles that will plus, really nice sliding stops and an easy lead changer. He qualified for the NRHA Affiliate Championships on several occasions and he will make you competitive in your division. Last year he competed in Rookie, Ltd Non Pro and Novice and had very consistent scores. You will never ride a more athletically gifted horse than this one. He is at 14.3 and has great 'splashes' of white on his legs and face. He does not crib, bite, kick, he is an easy keeper and really nice to have around the barn. He has a nice disposition with plenty of try, willingness to give you what you want, but also can cruise around too.
Show Record: NRHA $9,594, 8th Congress Reining Futurity, shown in Youth, Rookie, Ltd Non Pro and Novice Reining.
NEW INFO - AQHA Record: 3rd Congress Open Ranch Riding; Amateur ROM with 12 Reining, 9.5 Ranch Riding; Open 3 Reining, 6.5 Ranch Riding points.
