Cross Bred QH Type 2010 Sorrel Gelding - (Wisconsin)
Has been used on a ranch and trail rides. Gentle and Broke!
This big crossbred gelding is used to a days work. He came from big country and was used on the ranch. He is very well broke in the arena and outside. He is no stranger to a rope and is always ready to go to work. He is easy to catch and will greet you at the gate. He is not for a timid beginner as he is very quick and responsive. He rides good for anyone with a little confidence and is a fun ride. He has a big way of going and is very smooth. He has a good stop, picks up his leads and can turn around really quick. We ride him in a hackamore as he doesn't seem to like the bit, he will drop his nose right into his hack and neck reins. He loads and trailers well.
Currently being ridden by a confident beginner boy and girl in the arena and down the trails when weather permits. He is the boss out in the pasture, but not a mean boss. If you are looking for a big talented gelding that can work all day then Big Red is your guy.
