Notes:

We like to do some linebreeding in our program. This is a good example of hard to find genetics...a 3X Babe Cody. Babe Cody is credited in the Legends series, Volume 5, as being one of the most influential early sires in the Northern Plains. He stood at the Sutton Ranches for over 20 years and made his mark on the industry siring 11 AQHA Champions, AQHA Superiors, and ROMs. Comet's grandsire, Billy Nick Cody was shown in open and youth classes. He earned year-end awards in both. The one thing all of us that rode “Cody” bred horses remark is of us that rode “Cody” bred horses remark “did they have to be that smart!” This is going to be one of those grey horses that people will remember .. she is a pretty girl!

Foals and Yearlings have not been haltered.  We will put a halter and lead rope on each horse at time of pickup.

Foals can remain on the dam's side at Sutton Ranch for No Board charge until they reach 4 months of age.

Mr Smoking J Bee was shown his yearling year and was Reserve Yearling Stallion in the SDQHA. Now he earns his oats chasing cattle on the ranch. Once he locks on to a cow she doesn't get away no matter what hazard she goes over or through. His sire, Daniel J Bee, was one of the last breeding sons of AQHA Hall of Fame Horse, Jackie Bee. “Daniel's” get were known for the dependable and athletic working partners on many cattle ranches in western SD and WY. He was 100% foundation. His dam lists Skip Silent 445.5 AQHA points and Skipa String with race points. Jackie Bee and his owner, Dwayne Walker, were inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame- the only owner/horse to be inducted in the same year. Jackie Bee horses are known for their conformation and ability. His PE 7,879 AQHA points, 3,913 were in halter. He sired 3 World Champions, 4 Reserve World Champions, 12 Superior and 91 ROMs with 16 AQHA Champions. “Smokey's” dam, RWS Miss D Or, was unshown. Her full brother, Victor D Or, made up for that. In the Palomino Breeders of America he was ROM in 5 events. He was the PHBA Year-end Junior Barrel Horse, and 2X Junior Pole Horse. He accumulated both open and youth points in the PHBA and the AQHA.
