“Lysandra's” ¾ sister, was high point youth pole and barrel horse in two associations for three years. She has her youth ROM. She was used in ranch rodeos and did a lot of cattle work at home. Then she became a top broodmare. Sparkette Gal is a full sister to Bills Win (Heather's first youth horse); a half- sister to Sokota Sparky (dam of PRCA Barrel Horse of the Year with LTE of $250,000+) and Winning D Or (Ray's saddlehorse). A half- brother is a top team roping horse in Arizona and qualified for the USTRA Championship in Oklahoma. Young Pobre was bred on the King Ranch in Texas and is the sire to the winner of the Joe Beaver Invitational roping. If you need speed and/or cow sense this is your man. HYPP N/N.

This horse was haltered as a young horse and has had limited handling since.  We will put a halter and lead rope on each horse at time of pickup. 

His first year he was fed oats twice a day with free choice hay to insure normal growth. After the first year his diet has been grass with trace mineral supplement and lick tubs. He is current on worming and rabies.
He is halter gentle but has not been saddled. Because he was not started as 2-year-old there has been no stress on bone or muscle. He is sound and has run on rugged river pastures all his life. He will be able to put in a full day of work and be ready again the next day. In the winter he runs with our herd bulls so understands cattle. You can have him broken the way you want and not have to undo or live with someone else's training.

He must be caught up on his nomination fees to the Ranching Heritage Challenge before competing.
