The Vacation Vaquera provide guide services to Equestrians who bring their personal horses to Hocking Hills Ohio.
There are between 40-50 miles of trails at the Hocking State Forest.

Being a guide is more than just knowing the trails. I customize your ride according to the sites that you want to see vs the amount of time you wish to ride. I can create a route on the fly if your priorities change. I can take a group back if there is a decision that some want to ride longer and others want to go back to camp. I can describe where we are on the trail in case of an emergency. I also take photos of your entire group that I send to you later in an online Google album. You can do whatever you wish with the photos, I don't hold them and make you pay, it's part of the service. This way none of your group is missing in the photos. There are also places where you will tie your horses and go for a short hike to see something, like Airplane Rock. When you do this, you will be out of sight of your horses. I stay back and babysit them. This way you can take your time and enjoy the scenery. I know where there are mounting blocks and bathrooms. I can tell you how long on the trail until we get to the next watering area for the horses.

When you reserve me, I will also send you a Hocking Hills Visitors Guide a month ahead of time so you can plan other things to do if you have a rainy day.
