Spur of the Moment Ranch is 70 miles northeast of Green Bay, WI on the Southern-end of the Nicolet National Forest. We sit on the Nicolet State Trail, open to ATV's, UTV's, horses, bikes, & walkers. Travel to Wisconsin and enjoy the trails! Stay in a 2-bedroom Log Cabin or your Living Quarters in a campsite.

The two bedroom cabin has a queen size bed, 2 twin beds, & two fold down futon couches. The cabin sleeps a maximum of 8 people. The log cabin is complete with all the amenities. It has a full kitchen with an apartment size refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee pot. All bedding is provided for the cabin.

The bathroom has a shower, toilet, & sink. We provide complementary soap! Towels are provided. Should you need more during your stay, please ask!

The cabin also has dish network, a fire place, & a fire pit outside for evening campfires!

If you would rather camp in your living quarters, the campsites have water & 30 AMP service. We also have a dump station on site, as well as a full bathhouse if you choose to use it. There is a men's & women's bathhouse. Each has a sink, toilet stall, and two shower stalls! We do not allow tent camping because of the horses on site.

Spur of the Moment Ranch is dog, horse, & ATV/UTV friendly! Our paddocks are all 6 bar panel fencing with water & manure stations close to each paddock setup. We do have an out style barn on site if you choose to use it. You are welcome to move your horses between the paddock & the barn, we just ask you clean up what you use. All dogs must have a current proof of rabies. All horses must have a current coggins.

If you choose to come in spring, summer, or fall, but don't want to bring horses there is plenty to do in the Mountain area. Rent a UTV and site see! Climb 132 to steps to top of the Mountain Fire Lookout tower. Hike Butler Rock, Hager Mountain, Chute Pond Overlook, Quartz Hill. Learn a little bit about the rich logging history in Northern Wisconsin & hike Cathedral Pines. It is the oldest stand of pines in the state of Wisconsin! Slide the natural rock slide in the Oconto River, Slippery Rock. While you are at the Ranch if you wish to venture further out, check out the iconic Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers! Stop and check out the Lake front of Lake Michigan! Check out the Waterfall tour in Marinette County, a 1/2 hour drive! Take a day trip to the UP of Michigan! Of course, we do have a great coffee shop & candy store nearby!

We are also open year around if you need a winter getaway! Enjoy the best of Wisconsin, even in the winter months. The Mountain area does not close down for the winter! Rent a snowmobile! Try your hand at down hill skiing or snowboarding! Sled, snow shoe, or ice skate! We have a ton of small festivals, silly fundraising parties, & they are open to anyone who wants a little adventure! Turkey bowl! Put together a group & join the bed race fun! There is winter kick ball & out house racing! Try it all!

While we don't offer meals at the Ranch, there are great restaurants serving breakfast & lunch! Wisconsin is known for its fabulous Supper Clubs! Enjoy an Old Fashioned & a great meal! They do not disappoint!
