Hip 363: One Month Board and Training at Capitol M Performance Horses

Donated by Coy Moyers - Capitol M Performance Horses .
Notes:

1 month board and training for 1 horse. Everything, including 2 lessons per week that normally comes with training bill.

Vet, medication, supplements, and farrier work will be covered by the owner of the horse. Handlers for vet and farriers will be provided at no additional cost. Our farrier is journeyman Marcus Evans. We feed Wassermann farms hay at an "all you can eat" volume unless the independent horse as different needs. We feed purina ultium gastric and purina enrich to most all horses in training, however; we will feed any tribute or purina feed that the client prefers for their horse. There is daily turnout available at no additional cost.

We work horses 5 to 6 days per week depending on fitness, health, and independent needs of each horse. Every horse is properly warmed up, and colled down each ride. Bell boots are put on, and all 4 legs are polo wrapped every ride. We take extra time on every start job to make sure every horse we start stands for vets and farriers, loads in and out of trailers easily, stands tied solo, picket, and cross tied, stands in 4 way hobbles, and has advanced haltering skills. Our training style for riding is button centric, meaning the foundation starts with having control cues put on to control the hips (back end of the horse), the barrel, the shoulders, the neck, and the head separately, in a low presure systematic manner. This western dressage-esk starting style creates an easy to control and train horse that any mildly experienced rider can control. I am also very good at putting verbal controls on a horse that work every time with quick response (not tricks) so that riders have a multidimensional approach to controlling their horse.

We have a nice newer facility, with 2 large outdoor arenas, and a large indoor. We have a climate controlled lobby, kitchen, living space, with 2 restrooms. We also have a commercial washer dryer to take care of horse blankets, clothes, pads, etc... there are trailer/rv hookups here at the barn that you can hook to for no additional cost. Large client tackrooms, and 6 tacking stalls for convenient tacking and grooming. video updates of horses progress at no additional cost upon request.

We have an open door policy. You can come to the barn at anytime, on any day, and ride or check the progress of your horse. If you want to watch a training ride, schedule the day before. If you have any questions about us or our program call or text Coy at 865-591-8994.
