Viva Voltaire - our farm's best kept secret. Viva Voltaire offers his outstanding temperament, movement, versatility and athleticism to your discriminating breeding program. Viva's extraordinary jumping pedigree combines the famous bloodlines of Voltaire, Grannus and Argentinus. All three stallions have sired international show jumpers.

Viva Voltaire has proven himself in the jumper ring, winning the Ontario Jumper Championship for Four- and Five-Year-Old horses as a four-year-old(!) and claiming the Reserve Championship title in Ontario and nationally at the Royal Winter Fair as a five-year-old. Due to an injury he was retired to stud as a six-year-old. Two offspring from his first foal crop competed at the 2011 Pan Am Games in dressage. Viva's Salieri W and Tom Dvorak achieved the highest score for the silver medal Canadian team and finished fourth individually.

Viva Voltaire is the sire of AHS approved stallion Vive Victory, who demonstrated almost unlimited jumping potential at the inspection as per Der Hannoveraner. Many “Vivas”, such as Viva's Primus, Vivaldi and Saltorello have won numerous “A” circuit Hunter Championships in the U.S. and put Viva Voltaire on the USEF Hunter Sire ranking.  Otherwise was Champion of the Ultimate Hunter Challenge in Canada two years in a row.  Many of Viva's offspring have done very well in the young horse jumper classes in Canada and the U.S.; Viva has produced top “A” circuit equitation horses.

We have found our Viva offspring to be extremely marketable both as dressage and hunter/jumper prospects. Viva typically produces very athletic horses with lots of chrome, good looks, excellent movement, good technique over jumps and the most wonderful temperament.
