Choice of Sir Gregory, Checkmate, or Chacco's Rubin DSF

Sir Gregory

As a three-year-old Sir Gregory was the convincing winner of his 30-Day Test at Neustadt/Dosse, with very high scores in every category, giving him the high overall score of 8.85, highest score in the dressage phase of 9.08, and the very good score of 8.35 in the jumping phase.

He has also enjoyed much success in the young dressage horse classes in Germany. At his first show in Canada, Sir Gregory was able to earn his permanent breeding approval, qualifying for the national championships with an overall score of 8.1.

Sir Gregory has done very well with rider/trainer David Blake showing in California. His first year showing there he won at Third and Fourth Level with high scores. In 2012, as a seven-year-old, Sir Gregory made his debut at Prix St. Georges, winning his first time out. Sir Gregory scored up to 74.41% at PSG in 2013. He is showing everything needed to be a very successful Grand Prix Horse. We look forward to a bright future in the show ring for this young stallion.

Sir Gregory's first foals arrived in 2009. He had a very high percentage of Premium foals by the Oldenburg Verband. He also sired the Champion colt in Zweibrucken, who was the overall Reserve Champion foal. That colt is now an approved stallion in Germany. In 2010 Sir Gregory again had a very high percentage of Premium foals in Germany, and one of his colts was selected for the Oldenburg Elite Foal auction. In 2011 Sir Gregory's highly anticipated first North American crop arrived, and he clearly stamped his offspring. They have beautiful heads and necks, are modern in type, very correct with long legs, very elastic movers with three excellent gaits, and are also stamped with Sir Gregory's excellent temperament.

He was the leading sire of Premium foals with the GOV in 2011, siring several Foals of Distinction, as well as many Premium foals in other studbooks. In 2012 he continued to prove his value as sire, as again he was the leading sire of Premium foals with the GOV, siring many Foals of Distinction who were also named stallion prospects.

Chacco's Rubin DSF

Chacco's Rubin DSF is a modern type stallion, tall and leggy with a beautiful head, kind expressive eye and a good amount of bone. He shows a huge scope and excellent form over fences. Chacco's Rubin DSF shows three very good gaits, very elastic with a good hind leg. He is a very well-rounded athlete displaying excellent rideability, love of his work, and is very kind in nature. He was recently named the Reserve Champion of the 2015 Stallion Test in Oklahoma with high scores across the board. We are looking forward to presenting him in the show ring this year.

His sire is the immensely successful jumper stallion Chacco Blue who quickly established himself as a star from a young age. After winning the jumping index at his stallion performance test, Chacco Blue won over 30 show jumping classes judged on style and ability, qualified for the Bundeschampionat and proved to be one of the best of that year. In 2004 at the Bundeschampionat he won the final qualifier with a score of 9.2. Chacco Blue then went onto a successful Grand Prix career with several riders winning over 30 classes.
