Meet "Turbo"! A big bodied large pony standing approximately 14 hands, this athletic gelding needs to go through no fault of his own.

He sells without papers, though is believed to be a Connemara/Welsh cross. Our vet estimates he is 8 years old.

Gentle on the ground, he is kind natured and ready to learn. We unfortunately have not been able to give him the time he needs to be developed, but we feel with some mileage and schooling he could be competitive in the Pony Jumpers. He has lovely movement and enormous scope, easily jumping 3'9 oxers in the jump chute.

As of late last year, he was green, going well w/t/c in a frame, showing rhythm and adjustability in his canter and was going around small crossrail courses. He had been introduced to basic lateral work and was just beginning to learn about counter canters in preparation of lead changes. He would happily hack around our 50+ acre farm on a loose rein. This year we have not had time to work with him and has been out of consistent work for about 6 months.

He longlines, lunges, clips, leads, ties and bathes well and has no vices. He can be caught very easily (even on large grass fields) if approached quietly and offered a mint. He is barefoot and completely sound.

If I had to say one negative thing about him, it would be that he can be spooky if he has too much energy. Overall, he is more quiet natured and I believe he will finish out to be a push type ride.
