On 8/6 he was the Reserve Open All Around horse at a Versatility Ranch Horse Show earning a 1/2 VRH point.  On 8/13 he tied to Win NRHA Level 1 & 2 Novice Horse classes earning $576.

Topper truly is “One of The Top Ranch Riding Horses in the Country.” I am not eligible for Level 2 in Ranch Riding at the 2017 AQHA World Show because Topper has put me in the Top 2% of AQHA Ranch Riding point earners over the last 3 years. I have shown him to 71 judges in Ranch Riding and earned points under 61. Place 4th at the 2014 Congress in All Age Ranch Riding and was 2nd in the NSBA – score 228.5. In 2015 Congress he was Top 15 with a score of 217.5. In 2016 placed 6th in a tie for 5/6 with a score of 227.5 and the tie for 2, 3 & 4 had a score of 228.

Topper is the “Coolest Horse I have Ever Owned.” He is a Fun horse to live with and show. However, it's time for me to spend more time on a young horse we raised. I hate to see him go, but it will be fun to see someone else enjoy him.

Topper is a Very well trained horse. An Intermediate or experienced Novice rider should be able to get along showing this horse. Beginners have ridden him under controlled conditions.

Soundness Information: Topper has been treated for 2 stone bruises since I have owned him. For maintenance he has had hocks and stifles injected once in 5 years; and once a year gets a round of Adequan. Vet exam with Negative flexions 8/7/17 the day after a Versatility Ranch Horse Show where he showed in 7 riding events including Reining, Cutting and Roping.
