"Chester" is an imported 2005 Westphalian gelding.
He is a very fancy, top quality gelding. Was imported to be a dressage horse, but jumped so well that his career was switched to the hunters. USEF record in the adult hunter 3' at HITS Ocala. He is extremely well broke on the flat. Auto lead change. Will go on the bit or with a loose rein. He doesn't bite, buck, kick or crib. Very friendly to be around. Loves people and getting groomed!
Full disclosure:
Last year he had a suspensory injury. Our vet has been treating/monitoring his recovery the whole time. Happened last October. He is now ready to start being ridden again. He is currently sound. We had an ultra sound done in November, and I'll send the vet report to anyone who is interested in him. He will be fine for riding. Would excel again as a dressage horse, shouldn't jump anything too big anymore I would say. Great horse.
UPDATE: His dam also produced AL PACINO 44, current European CDI3* performer.
