Calypso is a 2017 bay AQHA APPENDIX filly. 5 panel negative & color tested (homozygous black, heterozygous Bay). By "Rocking Trick" (LTE of over $250k in track winnings) and out of a cow bred mare.

She leads, loads, picks up feet, etc. She's a big filly, and will probably mature to at least 15.2+ . She's very friendly and very fast. Pictures from the front are a bit difficult to get as she wants to be right up there with you. She leads well and loads. She's also been trailered on several 2-3 hour trips but always with another horse. You can pick up her feet, and she's had her feet rasped once by a farrier just to get her some experience with it. She's been started a bit with lunge-line training. She does not startle at all when you have the whip in hand and has had quite a bit of time spent rubbing it on her sides and feet to acclimate her to it. She's also done some short stints in walking and trotting on the line. We will continue working with her in this, weather permitting, until she is sold.

She's very gentle on the lead, but she loves to romp and play out in the field. She is quite fast when she gets to going, and we have seen her jump a couple of small obstacles up to approximately 1.5 - 2 feet tall. She'll make a great speed event horse or eventing horse, and later in life, she can be a great broodmare. She's been color tested and is homozygous for black, so she'll never throw a red colored foal. She's also 5-panel negative. She is being sold due to no fault of her own, but we are moving and cannot take her with us. Our hope is that she can find a loving home with someone that will take care of her and let her do something useful with her life.
