An incredibly versatile and talented horse with a great mind; Double Up Investment was the 2004 APHA Reserve World Champion Hunter Under Saddle Challenge. He earned APHA Open Points in HUS, Pleasure Driving, Hunter Hack and Western Pleasure. In APHA Amateur events he earned point in HUS and Hunt Seat Equitation. In 2006 Double Up Investment earned an AQHA Performance ROM and obtained AQHA Open Points in HUS, Green Working Hunter, Hunter Hack and Trail. In Amateur competitions he earned point in HUS and Trail.

Double Up Investment as a sire, is a multiple Congress Champion, APHA World Champion NSBA World Champion and AQHA Reserve World Champion producer. From his first foal crop, he sired, Livin In The Big Time ; an APHA Reserve World Champion and AQHA Reserve Congress Champion. Some of his other successful babies include: Its Been A While–multiple Congress Champion and NSBA World Champion and AQHA Reserve World Champion Junior Hunter Under Saddle. Im Seeing Double–Third in the Two Year-Old Hunter Under Saddle at the 2013 APHA World Show and also Double The Sensation who is an APHA Reserve World Champion. In 2016 alone he sired 2X L1 Champion, Reserve L1 All-Around Champion, 4X NSBA Reserve World Champion, Congress Champion and Reserve Champion and an APHA World Champion!

Owner, Jeff Burley remembers, “When I handled Simon at a previous position, he was always just so good minded it didn't matter if it was breeding season or not,” Burley recalls. “I have found after having several of his babies that he is passing this same temperament on and making all of them very trainable and great show horses. An advantage to breeding to him is it doesn't matter if you have a quarter horse or thoroughbred, you will have a horse that is eligible for AQHA and APHA classes.”
