Notes:
Sternlicht epitomizes the modern sport horse with his beautiful type, movement, and character.
Sternlicht has an impressive show record including placing 3rd at the USEF FEI Six-Year Old Championships, winning the US Dressage Finals for both First & Third Levels, and having a median score over 70% in his first year at Prix St. Georges as a 7yr old.
Sternlicht's first foals arrived the spring of 2015 and we're consistently seeing his beautiful modern type, long legs, and exceptional canter. He has sired a number of Premium Foals and Inspection Site Champions as well as USDF breed show winners. During the 2017 Dressage at Devon, Sternlicht offspring were particular standouts including placing in 4 of the top 6 spots in the Hanoverian class, being Reserve Champion Foal, and earning Sternlicht 2nd place in the Get of Sire class with an 81.45%.
Sternlicht's sire, Soliman de Hus, earned 137 points in his 70-day test including seven scores of 9 or higher.
Soliman is well-recognized for the type, character, and rideability he gives.
He has a number of approved stallions and high-priced auction horses to his record. Sternlicht's dam is an eighth generation Elite/SPS Mare. Her sire, Rascalino, was winner of his performance testing in Germany with an overall score of 148.29 and 153.37 points in Dressage.
Across a wide variety of mares, we see Sternlicht's positive contribution in his breedings. If you are looking to add length of leg, an uphill frame, and a strong topline, Sternlicht will be a strong recommendation for your mare.
