Notes:

REFRESH SCREEN to view new pictures added June 7.   UPDATE: Recently received a kick from a pasture mate on her right hindquarters near point of hip, but is very slight and barely visible in the photographs. She just lost a bit of hair.

Wind Dancer is very much like her grandsire. She is one of the few remaining granddaughters of APHA Champion Van Tyke. Van Tyke was a beautiful all around stallion that earner ROMS in Barrel racing, cutting, heading, heeling, pole bending, trail, and western pleasure. He ran and placed in two races and had 30 points in halter and several points in hunter under saddle. Overall, he was a 4X APHA grand champion and a 10X apha reserve champion, and he passed on all of his most wonderful qualities to his colts.

Wind Dancer has smooth gaits and has been previously trained in western pleasure, halter, showmanship, trail, and some reining. She spent her first 3 months under saddle with the man who originally owned, showed, and trained her grandsire. After that, she was ridden for several years as a child's futurity horse under the guidance of a professional trainer. She has been out to pasture since her owner went off to college, so she is not being sold as a beginner's horse. She has not had anyone on her back in about 6 years. When she was ridden, she never offered to buck, bolt, bite, or rear. She was easy to saddle and was fine with bathing.

She leads and loads just fine and will stand for a farrier. She was a bit grumpy the last time she had her hooves trimmed as she was very pregnant, but she did not require any sedation. She is fine with being sprayed, brushed, ect. Dancer has never had any major injuries of which we are aware. She also has no scars or blemishes that we can find. She is a very friendly in your pocket type horse and was a beloved companion to a little girl who loved her very much.

Wind Dancer recently foaled a beautiful palomino colt that has been sold and is NOT selling with her. That being said, he is a super sweet boy and is exactly like his mother. He has beautiful conformation, gaits and a wonderful, friendly disposition. While Dancer has yet to be 5 panel tested, her foal's new owner had him tested, and he came back 5 panel negative. So while we cannot guarantee that she is 5 panel clean, she has reasonably good odds.

Dancer also goes with an already paid stud fee for either San Peppy Scotch or Im All Cowboy owned by http://www.jjpaintsandquarterhorses.com/stallions.asp . New owner's choice of stud. New owner must pay all vet fees, hauling, and shipping costs for this breeding. The only thing that comes prepaid is the $700 stud fee. Valid until the end of their 2018 breeding season on July 31st. Wind Dancer will be unavailable for pickup until July 23rd at the earliest. Given how close that is to the end of the stud's breeding season, if the new owner desires to breed the mare, we can help arrange transport to one of several very good breeding facilities to have the mare AI'd. When she was bred last year, she took after only 2 days at the vet on her first attempt, so she was a very easy mare to breed. We would then be willing keep the mare as needed for her to settle well enough to travel to buyer's location. No board will be charged.
