Rita is a pretty mare that is ready to show in multiple Ranch events. She will work a cow and the flag and has also been used for some ranch type roping. This mare can go to the Ranch shows and the Sortings or Pennings. We have ridden her as a demonstration horse in our clinics and had intermediate riders on her for lessons.

She has already been shown successfully in ARHA (American Ranch Horse Association) with points in Ranch Boxing, Ranch Reining, Ranch Cutting, Ranch Trail and Conformation, as well as placing in ARHA Team Penning, and Ranch Riding.

Rita is easy to live with and stays out in pasture with others or alone. We have had her since last August and have had some fun with her.

ARHA Show Record:
Amateur: 6 Mare Conformation points.
Novice Amateur: 22 Ranch Boxing, 30 Ranch Cutting, 10 Ranch Reining, 11 Ranch Trail points.
Youth: 6 Horsemanship, 2 Mare Conformation, 2 Ranch Boxing points.

Rita has a sweet personality and enjoys attention.  She is not a problem when she is in heat.

I took her to a show with my gelding, by myself and showed both in the same classes.  I could show my gelding, trot back to the trailer, switch horses, trot Rita to the arena and go right in to show.

Limited vet exam prior to planning to sell – sound at the trot and negative to flexion tests.

Video 3 – Ranch Cow Work class 7-1-18, had only seen cattle once in over a month, first time for me to rope a live cow on her.  Previous trainer had done some ranch roping on her.
