Colorful Draft Cross (Percheron / Quarter Horse) Gelding, Well Seasoned on Trail!

Mac - 11yrs old, 16.2h tall, Bay Roan

This is a big ol' boy with a stylishly refined look and beautiful, flashy color. Mac has lots of trail miles under his feet, previous experience on a cattle ranch, and a good handle in the arena! He can go English or Western, can carry most riders, and he isn't afraid of anything!

Mac is friendly and enjoys attention, loves his lovin's, and has good ground manners. He ties, bathes, loads, lunges, etc. In general, he's on the slower, lazier side and likes it that way, but he will put some effort in if you ask for it.

Mac can ride out alone or in a group and won't bother or kick at his trailmates. His big, strong feet stay healthy with regular barefoot trims and he's an easy keeper. He's a great all around horse and ready for a great home!

*A note about stall manners - As far as a person going in to catch him, he's gentle and easy to catch (a "1" on the scale). If he's kept together with other horses, he tends to want to be the dominant horse. If stalled next to other horses, he'll sometimes lean on the panels to interact with his neighbors, so he'll need stout panels since he's a big, heavy horse.

We had a deal with someone who had looked at him earlier this summer and that fell through. Their loss is your gain!
