Danny is a 10 year old black 16.2hh registered Dutch Harness Horse gelding looking for a new home where he will be loved and spoiled! He is an excellent driving horse who has learned all the basics and is started under saddle.

Big fluid gaits, tons of natural athleticism, great personality and very trainable. Although he is green under saddle, he has no naughty behavior and currently being ridden in a lesson program by children and teens. He is learning how to move into the bit correctly at a walk and progressing into a trot and canter. Picks up both canter leads every time with beautiful, uphill canter. He has great hock and knee action - he would excel as a dressage, driving, or saddleseat prospect! Has also been started over fences, brave to the fences with no stop.

Danny loves to go out trail riding and has been exposed to many things like bridges, roads/traffic, dogs barking, shooting guns, water, etc. He will ride out alone or in a group and lead or follow.

He has great manners on the ground and no vices. Children can handle him without trouble. He stands on cross ties, ties to the trailer, stands for the vet/farrier, bathes, fly sprays, picks up all 4 feet, trailer loads, and loves to be groomed. He is easy to catch and can be turned out with mares and geldings. He is currently on 24/7 turnout but will happily live in a stall too.

Very well bred gelding, with fancy movement and a sweet, quiet temperament. His handsome looks and presence always draws the attention of everyone who comes into the barn! He has no injuries and clean legs. He does have soft hooves so I do keep him on a cheap hoof supplement which has improved his hooves 100%! We usually keep just front shoes on him if the ground is hard as he will get foot sore if there are a lot of rocks. With all of the rain we have been having the ground has been soft enough to keep him barefoot.
