‘Max' is a nicely built gelding that has a nice start, and ready to get a job. He is conformationally correct, has a quiet, easy going disposition and good mind that will allow him to excel in multiple events. He has been lightly started on the barrels and poles, but still working and finessing. He's also been hauled to rodeos and barrel races, and had a rope thrown off him.

‘Max' was bred for speed (sire, Dallas Alley, SI93, $53,000+ earnings) and performance…so has some get up and go, but can be an easy going gelding on the trail as well. His dam was a local 1D barrel mare as well as barrel producer. Wants to work, does not get hot. He can work cattle or used for ranch work, but I have not introduced him to it. I do feel he would be youth suitable, but needs to be an experienced rider since he is not finished yet. He has been ridden by a 15 yr old this past summer, and a 12 yr old has thrown rope off of him. This guy will make an excellent 4H, playday, roping or all-around competition horse once finished. He can be finished this winter and be ready for the futurities in 2019.

He does have a past injury, a scar from a cut he got as a yearling in the pasture. Don't know what he did, but ended up with a bump and scar on his right–rear pastern. Shown in one of the photos. He has never taken a lame step, vet checks welcome.

Eligibilites/Incentives: Paint Barrel Racing Incentive Program (PBRIP), Barrel Racers Incentive Program (BRIF), Valley Girls-Barrel Racing Association (VBGRA) and JJ Classic.

He is up to date on vaccinations and de-worming, regularly shod and had his teeth floated May 2018.
