AQHA 2006 mare. I have had her since she was 4. Send her off for 6 months to be patterned on the barrel. Trainer said she was doing great and has a lot of speed but needed more rate so give her some time. So I bred her to MP Frenchmans Hayday (Dinero) had a filly and sold her for $10,000. So I bred her again to Dinero two years later. (A year in between births) had a colt and I am keeping him. He is 3-1/2 now and just wonderful. So 2 years from that birth bred her to MP Jet To The sun. Had a colt, sold him for $4,500. I have decided that I am no longer breeding. It is no fault of her own. I still trail ride on her and have even had my 8 year old granddaughter trail ride on her. She gets along with other horses out in the pasture, and is not marish. I can tell when she comes in when she pins her ears back at the other horses. She has gotten bred the first time every time. No issues birthing. She will let you touch her baby from the moment they are born. But she doesn't like to be touched for 3 days. We found out this last year from the vet to give her pain meds and that did the trick. She is up to date on shots, farrier, worming, teeth and I will pull a fecal before she leaves and worm her if needed. She has been an easy keeper. I just hope she can be to someone else what she has been to me.
