My Baby Dunit (Matty) is a very cute red roan whos been ridden all this year. Since day one she has rode quiet and never offered to buck. She is only 14 hands, but has a big heart girth so is easy to sit on, has plenty on hind quarters for strength in her lope and a pretty head & level neck. Matty is safe for a youth or novice amateur. She has good ground manners, enjoys attention and will meet you at the gate when called. Gets along well with other horses too. She is a young mare that isnt for a strict beginner still she needs a guiding hand but is ready for novice riders to enjoy. She is easy to ride and never balks. She has a nice controlled jog and lope with good speed control in transitions, excellent lateral movements from legs (for opening gates) and steers well with two hands and is started neck reining in a grazer. Is brave when alone out in pasture or woods and handles trail obstacles with any issues. Plenty of basics ingrained in her over the past year.
