Findus is the total package! He had a successful career showing in the Grand Prix Jumpers, Regular Working Hunters, and Adult Amateur Hunters. He has the talent for any professional yet the temperament for an Amateur. His talent and easy going Amateur friendly attitude has been proven to be passed to his foals. Findus has foals competing successfully in upper level jumpers and even dressage in Argentina. Findus was also picked to be a part of a South Korean breeding program. His foals in the States are just now starting their show careers in both the hunters and jumpers.

Findus is by For Pleasure (Fuioso II / Grannus) who is a two-time Olympic Gold Medal winner, World Champion, Hanoverian Stallion of the year in 2000, and German horse of the year in 1995. For Pleasure won 1.8 million euro in prize money. His sire, Furioso II, is considered one of the most influential sport horse sires in the world who, in 1989, was the top sire in Germany based on money earned by his get. For Pleasure has sired 70 approved sons

Findus' damsire, Chanel, is by Caletto I (Cor de la Bryere / Consul). Chanel, when crossed with "For Feeling (by For Pleasure) produced another approved stallion son in Hannover, "For Good Feeling" who won his 30 day stallion testing. For Good Feeling and Findus are ¾ siblings. Interestingly, Chanel's dam, Lorraine (by Landadel) is out of Gigantin -- dam of For Pleasure. This makes a "circular pedigree" strengthening the prized genes in the offspring.
