Jonesy stands an impressive 17hh with nice big bones and angles. If it wasn't for his Jockey Club tattoo everyone would think he was a big warmblood. He even has humongous, beautiful feet.

He has been used as a lesson horse for the past few years while his owner was traveling. Jonesy is a gentle giant and loves a good scratching. He is very amateur friendly, and forgives mistakes quickly.  He is a solid Novice horse with a few training level derby's under his belt. His steady ""okay dokay"" rhythm makes him a fun uncomplicated ride for adult amateurs or kids wanting to learn the ropes. Nothing phases or spooks him. Water, ditches, up banks, down banks you name it he will pack you over it.

Gives automatic lead changes 90% of the time and 100% of the time when asked.

Jonesy is happy to jump up to 3`6 but because he is a roarer we have only played at the level in the arena and kept him competing in the lower levels. He has never seemed bothered by it though. He would make a great addition to any lesson program or a best friend to an adult or child looking for a consistent and reliable ride every time.
