Katana ESH was inspected by at Society of Belgian Studbook and received PREMIUM status. As a yearling she was shown in hand at the YHS Wellington show and was 3rd out of 13 yearlings. We expect this filly to mature to 17hh+/-. Her full brother Jockamo ESH is currently 17.2 as a 3 yr old. He was super easy to start and although he was bought as a jumper prospect his easy going attitude and big movement is pushing him towards the hunters. Like her brother Katana truley enjoys jumping and is showing the natural balance and ability to be a upper level jumper but also has the bravery and movement to excel in the eventing fields. She is very sweet, easy to clip, loads like a seasoned show horse and has been handled since birth. She has been completly tacked up and has started lightly lunging giving us no trouble at all.She gets along with all horses, other animals (Alpacas, goats, chickens and dogs) and tends to be lower on the totem poll. She has mostly been pasture kept but doesnt mind a stall ither.

She is by the 16.1hh imported stallion Findus (For Pleasure/ Caletto I/ Landadel). Findus was successful in the Hanoverian Grand Prix Jumper, Regular Working Hunter, and Amateur Owner Hunter arenas. Findus is known to pass his jumping abilities along to his offspring along with producing amateur friendly mounts. This filly is out of the 16.0 hh JC registered D.J.'s Girl (Take Me Out/ Mogambo / Gallant Romeo) who has had a short hunter career after retiring from the race track, then became a broodmare and now has gone back into work in a handicap therapy program. She has produced 2 hunters, an eventer and has 2 young promising prospects on the ground that look to be following their siblings. One of her hunter type foals includes Hypnotic (aka Ransom Payment). Her foals consistently have big movements and great form over fences. Her foals also show trainability and bravery when faced with new challenges. We are very excited for this fillies future. She is located at Erinwood Sport Horses. 

Katana ESH can be sold with a discounted breeding to any of Rising Star Farms stallions.  Buyer would need to notify Rising Star farm after the purchase of Katana. This breeding is transferable. Purchaser would need to check availability due to show schedules.
