Cecil Aldin was an English artist of note and greatly sought after. The rarity of his lithographs is partly due to the fact that almost all of his plates were destroyed during WWII. His works are truly an asset to any collector.

Each of the lithographs listed here are in their beautiful original frame (4 of the 6 have the original backing, this one has it's original backing, the photo of the framers label is from the `Between the Races` lithograph as it is the only one to still retain it's label. The others (like his one) only reveal an outline of it's missing label; the lithograph measures 21.5"x30", with the frame it measures 26.5"x35”; Publishers, Lawrence and Bullen, Ltd. in London are noted, as well as, being entered into the office of Librarian of Congress at Washington. not authenticated.

An authenticated chromolithograph of 'the Arrival at the Course' from 1901 recently sold for over £9,000 pounds.
