First time offered for sale, `The Sorting Hat` aka Clever is a seriously talented horse.  

He was first started in the western world with sorting cows and trail riding.  His owners no longer had the time for him and he landed in an eventing-dressage farm who also had the the opportunity to own and compete his sire Quest for Gold who excelled in eventing with a young rider.  

Clever is ready to compete and has been off the property schooling cross country.  He hauls great and works well straight off the trailer.  I do recommend that he go to either an AA or youth a trainers guidance or as a project for a professional.  He still needs that clarification of the use of aids.  

He often anticipates a halt rein back with just the shift of your upper body.  He works well of the seat and upper leg aids.  Enjoys soft hands as he is soft in the mouth.  Clever has been in a jump shoot and we went up to 3'9 the first time.  He is great at adjusting his stride and seeing his distance.  He carries this over under saddle and has great form over fences and is brave.

 Clever also has the movement and aptitude for dressage schooling some 1st and 2nd level movements.  He is sound good solid feet, never worn shoes and no previous health history.  He will either live out 24/7 or does well in a stall.  

We are planning on showing him this month at at a dressage show if he does not sell with an event soon to follow.  Get him now while he is still available and we don`t change our minds.
