Wildflower WF aka Winnie is a 2001 Premium AHS Mare. She is by the Elite stallion Wellesley and out of a mare by Acapulco. She easily earned her Premium status with AHS in her MPT with a final score of 8.05, boasting a score of 9 in the jump chute, which is an amazing accomplishment for a dressage-bred mare!

In her younger years, Winnie competed in dressage regularly across Canada with an amateur rider. She was the Cornerstone Palgrave amateur division champion in first, second, third, and fourth level dressage with scores ranging from the mid 60s to 70s. Winnie also placed multiple times in the Prix St Georges amateur division, earning scores in the mid 60s. She was schooling Intermediare-I before she was forced to retire due to injury. She has had several foals over the years and is a good broodmare. Winnie is currently open, but did give a successful embryo transfer this past season and would be best to continue as an embryo donor mare. She also has a recent clean culture/cytology.

Winnie is good to handle. She is fine in a stall or being out 24/7. She's good for the vet & farrier, easy to bathe, loads, clips, ties, etc. Gets along easily with other horses.

Due to a past injury, Winnie does have a slightly ""off"" gait that can only be seen at the trot & canter. She is pasture sound and does not require any maintenance.

Winnie's sire, Wellesley, is by World Cup IV x SPS Esplanade. Wellesley's offspring have proven to be exceptional performance horses. Many of his foals have been champion at their foal inspections and have followed through on the early promise with successful show careers. Wellesley's offspring have proven to be top hunters, jumpers and dressage horses, competing with great success at top levels. One of his first son's, Wolfe WF, has achieved many hunter Championships on the Southern California `A` Show Circuit as well as USEF Zone 10 Year End Champion Awards.

Additionally Wolfe has received AHS year-end awards in each of his show years 2010, 2011,2012 and 2013. He has achieved extraordinary feat in both the Professional and Amateur divisions. Wellesley's daughter Waltzing Mathilda WF, has also earned Championships at many prestigious ""A"" Circuit Southern California horse shows, including Half-Circuit Champion at the Thermal Desert show. His daughter, EM Wildflower, was the highest scoring mare in her MPT (7/8/8, and 9/8 for jumping). His dam, SPS Esplanade, has also produced many successful show horses in the hunter, jumper, and dressage disciplines.

NOTE: Wildflower had a foal in 2018. She has a foal due in 2020 on an Embryo Transfer.
