Cora, as she is called at the barn, is a flashy, big bodied 16.2++h bay mare with two white rear socks and a star. She weighs 1500 lbs. She gets along very well with other horses including miniature horses. She is happy being stalled or kept in a paddock with a lean to.

Cordelia is sired by Sambertino (black/white tobiano stallion)(Samber x Illustra). Her dam is Ophelia STF / SB II, Sport preferred.

Cora is not only gorgeous, but she's got a super sweet temperament, and is very forward thinking. Don't let her size fool you, she is a huge teddy bear that loves attention. She has great ground manners, loads, ties, bathes, stands for vet and farrier.

In the past, she was ridden as a hunter/jumper, along with some cross country. I don't have any photos or videos of her jumping. The video that you see was taken in May 2019 when she was first ridden dressage. The still shots are of her lunging prior so you can see her excellent movement.

Currently, she's been off work since June as I am no longer able to ride her with the arthritis in my hands and back. Cora has a heart of gold and wants to do nothing more than to please you in everything that she does. She is a very hard worker. She has no buck or spook, no vices or health issues. She's best suited for an intermediate rider who knows how to get her back into condition.

Cora would excel in 3-Day Eventing as she's so nicely forward and very brave. She'd also be excellent in the dressage arena with her lovely gaits, and that helps pull out a win in eventing! She has not been bred to my knowledge but would be an excellent broodmare prospect. She just needs the right rider to mold her into the horse of a lifetime!
