Galiena is a 16.1 hand registered Oldenburg ISR mare by the lovely Stallion Gatsby. ‘Gatty' as we call her at the barn is a well mannered girl who enjoys to be loved on. She is stunning to look at with her kind eye and gorgeous head. She stands on the cross ties and loves to be brushed, vacuumed and bathed. She self loads on the trailer and ships quietly and easily. She's NOT a ‘Marish' mare, and has no vices. She stalls well and equally enjoys her turn out. Gatty goes out well with mares/ geldings or in a mixed herd. Right now she is turned out with a 6 month old colt as his babysitter and weaning buddy. 

Gatty was started as a 3 year old doing local hunter/ jumper shows. As a 4 year old she was bred to the stallion Aloha, and had a stunning correct colt in 2016. She was a great mother and was easy to wean. She is in the Main mare book with Oldenburg NA, making her foals eligible to be registered. Since weaning her foal in 2017 she has been put on the back burner due to no fault of her own, owner has too many horses and is looking to downsize. Over the past couple years she's been out Cross country schooling and to local hunter and jumper shows. She has shown up to 3'3” in the jumper ring and is very brave to the fences. In the hunter shows she has been shown in the 2'6” schooling divisions. Although she is 16.1 she is a big girl and takes up a lot of leg. She will do best with an intermediate or above rider in a consistent program. This mare will surely flourish in any ring whether it be jumpers, dressage, eventing, hunters. 

Gatty currently wears front shoes and is excellent for the farrier. Up to date on coggins, vaccines, and dental.
