Notes:

Sanssouci is a 2014 Hanoverian mare by Sir Gregory out of Sanszi (Santano/Domingo/Lombard). She has 3 beautiful expressive and elastic gaits. She is looking to please and is a mare that will be very dedicated to her person. She is a sensitive and very elegant mare best suited for an experienced rider or a intermediate rider working with a coach.

Sanssouci was lightly started as a 3 year old and has been in professional training for the past 1.5 years. She has been trained according to the German training scale. She is a very talented mare that received super comments from all judges at her first dressage show this summer. She is a mare with a huge loving heart, that through her inexperience can be stubborn for a few seconds, but wants to make it right. She will tightly bond with a person that she can trust in every situation, who is able to give her confidence. She is a very versatile mare that would also do very well in the hunter/jumpers.

Sanssouci will be a partner in crime once she has established that bond. Her trainer absolutely adores her, but we are downsizing and she needs a person of her own.

Her dam Sanszi was sired by the Hanoverian Stallion Santano who was licensed in 1995 and purchased by the Celle State stud. He completed his 300 day stallion performance test at Adelheidsdorf with an excellent dressage score of 131.37 points (3rd in dressage). He was then sold and imported to the US, where he was developed to Grand Prix. Santano's Sire Sao Paulo was also the sire to Isabelle Werth's highly decorated Olympic mount Satchmo. Sanszi's maternal grandsire Domingo was competed up to the Grand Prix levels in the US by Hilda Gurney, before continuing this success under another rider.
