Notes:

Who is looking for their next Palomino World contender? Magnum has the movement, looks, and personality to go far in the show ring. He has a great trot and a jog you can ride all day. This big, flashy guy gets noticed everywhere he goes.

Magnum is a 2008, 16.3 PHBA/APHA (spb) gelding. He was shown locally and maintained by a novice and ridden at home by a 13 year old. He is finished in hunter under saddle, equitation, showmanship, and hunter in hand. He has all of the spins needed for equitation and always sticks his pivot foot in showmanship. He is ready to be shown in Walk Jog classes. He has been shown off of the trailer and spent a week at our state fair. Magnum has also shown at Palomino Worlds as a 4 year old. He enjoys being in a stall and living the show horse life. He loves attention and being worked. Magnum was trained by Dan Mclaughlin with his previous owner. He is going to make someone a top notch show horse. Unfortunately, with a toddler, I do not have the time to keep him going. He is not spooky and noises do not bother him at all. He is used to dogs and kids running around. Magnum is sound with or without shoes and doesn't require any maintenance.

With limited showing, Magnum has the following PHBA points:
3 Open Halter
1 Amt Equitation
8 Amt Hunter Under Saddle
7 Nov. Hunter Under Saddle

Magnum was shown locally this year and finished the year as Reserve High Point English Horse. Overall, He finished:
2nd in Walk/Trot
3rd in Hunter In Hand (with a 13 yo)
4th English Pleasure
4th Solid Color Halter.

Magnum is very responsive to leg and doesn't require spurs. He is very in tune with his rider. Therefore, he does require a confident rider. He doesn't do well with a nervous rider. If you are confident, he just drops his head and goes. He does require a twitch for clipping his ears, but stands quietly for everything else.
