PSU Pretty Good Deal, "Mia," is best suited as an all-around show prospect. This mare is a high-quality mover who has been very cooperative throughout the entire training process.

Each horse was born and raised at Penn State University. They are a part of the Equine Science Program and are taught basic ground handling skills such as grooming, leading, yielding to pressure, tying, picking up feet, and standing for the vet and farrier. They have been exposed to bathing, clipping, and loading/unloading on a stock trailer as well noises associated with football games and fireworks. During their time in this program, each horse has lived outside in mixed groups as well as stalled individually at night. The horses learn to round pen, lunge, and are green broke to walk, jog, and lope under saddle. They are worked with by a variety of students with various skill levels.

Red White N Good is a 2009 stallion by Zippos Mr Good Bar and out of Krymsun Jet Set. Red White N Good excels at Western Pleasure and Western Riding, and was shown in Open Western Pleasure as a 3 year old. This good-minded stallion is producing smart, athletic, gorgeous foals that would be good Western Pleasure, Western Riding, and All-Around prospects. In addition, he has produced multiple top ten congress horses such as Live N It Up and Icecream.

Her dam, A Pretty Big Deal, is by One Hot Krymsun and out of Art I Pretty. One Hot Krymsun is a seven time All-American Quarter Horse Congress Champion/Reserve Champion, and he is also the only horse to ever win the AQHA Open Western Pleasure Triple Crown. He is also a NSBA hall of fame stallion. Art I Pretty is a Reserve World Champion and NSBA World Champion in HUS. She earned her Superior in both Open and Amateur HUS and finished her career with over 150 points in HUS and Pleasure Driving.

UPDATE: 4/24/2020 – This filly was experiencing slight lameness on her front end. In consultation with several veterinarians, the probable diagnosis of bilateral foot soreness was made. Her front feet were shod and now she appears to be traveling normally.
