Notes:

Jewel is broke to death, very light with a smooth gait, delightful for anyone with hip, knee or back pain. She has been successful in reining, ranch riding, and western dressage.

Requires NO maintenance, always sound, barefoot in front.

She has been my daughters horse for the past five years, the only reason we're selling her is my daughter has fallen in love with jumping. I board my horses, so sadly I can't afford to keep her if I'm not going to use her.

We have owned Jewel for 12 years, for 11 of them I kept her with a professional trainers, Ron and Sylvia Kohlhoff, only due to my time constraints. Jewel does not need to be with a professional trainer, she knows her job.

She has all the reining buttons, but would prefer a change of scenery. You could win a lot in ranch riding and western dressage with her.

She trail rides! Off roading through mud, up and down hills, and we have gone through water up to her chest! Gets along well with other horses, though I've never turned her out in a group situation.

Due to her high level of training I do not recommend a complete beginner who is not working with a trainer buy her. You may push buttons you don't realize are there! She is tolerant, my Elementary age daughter rode and showed her. My husband who is an amputee rides her and she does not mind the prosthetic leg banging her at all. I have put beginners on her with supervision with no problems.
