"Vegas" is a 5 year old unraced TB.
He has taught up/down lessons, jumped to 3 foot, been in a school program for intermediate students, bareback in a halter, fox hunted second field and been to a couple of schooling shows.
He is fabulous on the trail and would make an EXCELLENT trail horse, nothing bothers him. He LOVED his rides with the hunt and would also make a great hunt horse, though he needs more experience as he canters sideways for the first 20 minutes when you head out.
He is quiet as can be and a very sweet personality. He has flying changes, however he will not pick up his left lead. He can have a buck in him if he gets frustrated which makes me think he doesn't enjoy arena work too much. He would be best suited to someone who wants a hunt horse on a budget or a fabulous trail partner that doesn't want to spend too much time in the ring.
He is bottom to middle of the pack when living in a herd and gets along with everyone we have kept with him. He is happy in a stall or in the field. He wears front shoes only right now, but in softer footing he could be barefoot (Colorado is very tough on horses feet).
He is a super sweet horse who just doesn't have a job at our farm right now and due to financial reasons we need to thin our herd!
