Notes:

Harten is a lovely kind hearted gelding. He stands 16.2 and is 9 years old. He is big boned with nice big feet. He has been kept barefoot behind and likely could go barefoot in front in better footing.

He is an easy keeper on mostly grass hay and a pound of Purina Enrich Plus. Could easily be fed alfalfa to increase energy level for upper level movements.

He is a beautiful horse that is also a total love bug and wants to be with you all the time. He is not mouthy or naughty on the ground in any way. He even falls asleep when he is being clipped. He is perfect for the farrier, hauling, tying, everything! He has had my young kids on and around him and even done beginner lessons.

I have had him since the end of 2016. When I got him he vetted well. The only unusual thing was he had a small chip in his hind right fetlock. It has never bothered him. I bought him to be an eventer, when I tried him I put him over some small cross rails and he rushed through them. I had been told he'd been started over fences. He was brave to the fences so I thought I could `fix1 his rushing.

3 years and 3 coaches later we have decided as lovely as he is, he is not a fan of jumping. So I sent him to be trained through the levels and sold as a dressage horse. He is now a SOLID SECOND LEVEL dressage horse and super easy and kind as long as he is not jumping. He moves off the leg well, has nice lateral work. Bends and stretches nicely. His dressage fly changes are coming along too. He also goes down the trail well and rarely does any looky stuff.

He has the most amazing uphill canter and lofty trot. He has been ridden by an FEI level rider that thinks he has promise for the upper levels.

He has been to some schoolings and is very good away from home.

I had hoped he would be my forever horse and this has been very hard. I see him being somebody's best friend. Winning at dressage shows and loving regular trail rides.

Please feel free to call me with questions. I have his ppe images from 11/2016 if you'd like to see those.

His dam, Tiara, was was half Hanoverian and half TB
