Sired by the young, successful stallion Skys Blue Bently, and out of a mare with two super horse producing sires, this filly is sure to bring added natural talent to your show barn! Lucy is an easy keeper who is very well mannered and enjoys getting all the attention she can possibly get, even if youre simply walking by her field. She was born at a lesson/boarding barn and thus has been handled by many people of all ages, abilities, and sizes since birth. Likely to be good sized - dam is 16 hands and sire is 17 hands - this big girl has a naturally large stride and is athletically light on her feet. Lucy is an easy-to-work with, quick learner, and seems to retain the information from her lessons well. She stands well for grooming, the farrier, and the vet. She does pretty well when sprayed with various topicals like fly spray or show sheen and to be hosed off, but does still need a little more work with them. Lucy has also been introduced to tying and the horse trailer which shes taken to quite well. She was rated as indicated due to her age and level of inexperience, but is ready to begin learning what it takes to have a successful show career.
