Notes:

""Lily"" was always, before I bought her, a youth open show horse. The family that I bought her from, their daughter would take this mare to an open show and show in everything she was eligible for, all day long. She would do the halter, the showmanship, jump small courses, show hunt seat, show the western pleasure stuff, and even do poles. Lily is broke, broke, broke and has all the buttons. She is an alpha mare and does better with a rider who will insist on performance, not let her slide. She trail rides SUPER, will ride out alone even. Great manners, stands ties all day, great with her feet, great with needles/vet, etc. Will stand quietly by a mounting block, easy to catch. Can be a little explosive on a lunge line and I would not recommending letting a small child or inexperienced child lunge her; if you absolutely feel you MUST lunge her, have an adult do it or a serious-minded aware youth, or put her in a round pen and let her do whatever. I normally do not lunge her before riding.

I bred her for the first time in 2018 and, in 2019, had a gorgeous colt by Kissin The Girls (picture included in this auction). Lily is sound, no health issues. Disclosure: Behind the girth line, low on the right side, she has a lump under the skin about the size of a small marble cut in half. It is mobile; you can grab it and pull it, squeeze it, whatever, and she shows no reaction. It doesn't bother her when girthed up. I had it checked 3 years ago when I got her and the vet said if it's not bothering her, leave it alone. Since it's no bother, I leave it alone. When I got her three years ago it was disclosed to me that she had a blown bursa on the right front fetlock and sometimes it would fill with fluid and bulge out. Again, I consulted the vet; it was suggested to me to leave it alone as she was sound. During the intervening three years, this bursa has calcified and presents as a concrete-hard small bulge on the outside aspect of her right front fetlock. This does NOT impinge on any articular surface within the fetlock and the mare has never taken an ""off"" step, either before calcification or after. Therefore, it is a blemish and does not affect her soundness (thank goodness). I'm disclosing for honestly's sake; out of honesty's sake, I also affirm that the mare is sound, needs no maintenance meds, has never been injected, is not on any supplements, and is perfectly fine BAREFOOT 24/7.

She's cute over fences and will pack a small course. Athletic enough to do 2' courses. Has never, with us, offered to run out or stop at a fence, does not build down the lines, just cruises around. Would be a really fun over-fences horse for the open shows.
