April is an attractive and sensible Oldenburg mare by well-known hunter sire, Apiro.

This spring she was imported from Canada where she had a good record in the 2'6 hunters on the Trillium Circuit.

April is a pleasure to own and ride. She's got more whoa than go, and is happiest in a happy mouth snaffle and a small spur. She's not spooky and will stand all day in cross ties to be brushed and loved on.

She has no rated show record in the US, however she did attend an NCHJA schooling show in July 2020 where she was reserve champion in the 2'3 to 2'6 schooling hunters. She also loves to trail ride and jump cross country fences. April has plenty of step to jump around the 3'-3'3 with a junior or ammie adult, but she's happy to do the adds with a long-stirrup rider as well.

She doesn't hold a grudge and doesn't mind the miss. She also has an automatic lead change in both directions. She's fancy enough to hold her own in good company at rated shows, but she's simple and easy enough to teach a kid the ropes.

April is not on regumate or any other hormones. Sadly for sale due to owner downsizing.
