Maze is tall, correct, and sporty with a quiet, sweet nature. She already has the start of a great education - stands tied, loads, lunges, and ponies. She will mature 16h +. Good bone and movement but also light enough to pursue combined training/eventing, or could be a fancy foxhunting prospect.

She was 4th overall at her inspection as a foal, and 8th Nationally at year end; receiving a 76.925.

Maze's dam Bella Serra is a Premium Oldenburg mare by Batido and out of Icy Luster, who previously competed in dressage through 1st level. Bella's sire Batido earned a team silver in the 1995 Pan Ams, team gold in the Can Am Challenge, and was USDF Horse of the Year at PSG/Inter I level that year. He also won the individual bronze at the North American Young Riders' Championships; won first place in the USDF /AHS Horse of the Year ranking for the Grand Prix freestyle in 2000.

Maze's sire is Tiresias (aka Mateus), a lovely Friesian stallion who is shown in dressage and drives as well. He is a stunning stallion who has excellent forward movement and a baroque athletic build, and a kind character. Tiresias's owner reports he also loves an afternoon on the trail, and showing off at local expos.
