Notes:

Toby is as cute as a button and royally bred to boot with the best jumping lines on both sire and dam's side. He has already begun a soft weaning process, and will be available for full weaning in just a couple of weeks, and can be boarded for free until weaning is finished. Toby has already had extensive leading, tying, grooming, and ground work experience. He is very friendly but does not bite (although he will groom the air when being groomed) and moves away very politely when asked. He has a strong and vibrant personality with no vices. He picks up his feet and allows full exam politely. He can be gelded upon purchase if desired, but he may be an interesting stallion prospect as there are no conformational faults. So far one testicle is descended and the other is not; but it is still early enough that it is likely to descend.

Dam Molly Brown has an extensive record on the line, winning the broodmare class at Upperville and the Warrenton Pony Show over the years. Year End Awards include Virginia Pony Breeders Association and Virginia Horse Show Association Championships.

String tests t0 13.2 per seller

She is the Dam of several foals, one finishing third in the Young Pony Under Saddle at Devon as a three year old. Up to date on all vaccinations, no vices, and easy to handle. She would make a wonderful addition to any pony breeding program.

Record: Molly Brown - Winner of 12 out of 13 Pony Broodmare classes including, Upperville (3 times), Maryland Horse & Pony Show (4 times), Warrenton Pony Show (twice), Deep Run Horse Show, Lexington National, etc.

Produce: Dam of CHERISHED, Top 20 Pony Finals Small Green Pony, Pony Finals qualifier in the Small Pony Division, Champion in Small Pony Hunters & Green Pony Hunters, winner and Reserve Champion Pony Breeding as a foal, Winner and Reserve Best Young Pony at 3.

Dam's Sire: Land's End Poseidon - (died 2009 at age 10) 4-time Top 10 USEF Leading Sire of Pony Hunters; 3-time USEF Top 6 Leading Pony Hunter Breeding Sire. Sire of SADDLE SOLD SEPARATELY, 2014 USEF #3 Small Green Pony Hunter; ROSECROFT ST NICK, Devon winner 3-yo Colts/Geldings; ROYALTY, Devon Champion Mare; FARNLEY TRITON, multiple WPCSA National Champion; etc. Offspring sold at auction averaged $16,608, high seller $61,500.

2nd Dam: Woodlands Magic Rain - Pony Breeding Champion & winner of the Pony Broodmare class at the Warrenton Pony Show. Pony Broodmare winner at Upperville, Deep Run, etc. Dam of BEFORE DAWN, VPBA Division Champion at Rosemount Farm, ribbons at Tryon, Keswick and more.

Sire Llanhaven Royal Portrait, a bay Sec B stallion, is standing in Virginia and is the get of several famous Welsh pony jumping lines including Farnley, Glannant, and others. Downland Chevalier was a top pony sire as well, and he is present back in the pedigree as well (on both sire and dam's side) in the right place to be the most powerful for line breeding.

NOTE on photo 4: "This was taken when Toby unexpectedly broke free of his handler and followed his dam (she was the one we were training to go through the jump chute, NOT Toby). Although we would never have put him through the chute on purpose at this age - it shows his adorable fearless nature, determination, and drive. Plus - knees up to his nose!"

UPDATE: Toby was bred to be a medium, and his dam is 14.0 1/2. He string tests to be 13.2 (although I'm sure you know it isn't perfect) and he is built very sturdily.
