NCSU Sparkle N Shine, aka “Echo”, is a prospect by My Rugged Destiny out of Catch The Sparkle ( by The Last Captive). This fancy filly's sire has produced a number of successful horses performing under various disciplines including a recent Palomino Horse Breeders Association World Championship and two Reserve World Championship Titles. Her dam is by the The Last Captive, AQHA World Champion and World Champion Sire and out of Good Assets Joy, dam of an AQHYA World Champion in 13 and Under Hunter Under Saddle horse and AQHA Champion.

This stunning golden palomino filly has a nicely balanced body, a calm temperament, is willing to learn, and has correct feet and legs. She does have a slight overbite - see the picture provided.

Echo's conformation, pedigree, and temperament makes her an excellent all-around prospect who could excel in a number of disciplines including Hunter Under Saddle, Ranch Riding, and more. She was born and raised as part of North Carolina State University's Animal Science program. Echo has been used for teaching a variety of undergraduate students with varying horse skills at NCSU's Reedy Creek Equine Farm.

In December 2020 Echo successfully graduated from the NCSU Animal Science Growing and Performance Laboratory where she was routinely haltered and handled for leading, grooming, veterinary and farrier procedures. She was taught to load quietly on and off of a horse trailer, and work in hand around obstacle courses. She has been consistently exposed to novel sights and sounds including construction traffic, fireworks and large groups of students. All handling has been done under the supervision of equine professionals.

Echo is microchipped and up to date on all preventative care (vaccines, hoof trimming, Coggins, and deworming). She will come with a copy of her health records.
