Look of a Star is the best dispositioned thoroughbred mare I have ever owned. You can give her weeks off during the winter and pick the coldest day to start her back and she will be amazing to ride.

She loves treats, coffee, donuts and will steal your drink if you let her. She is kind enough to give up-down lessons, loves to go cross country and has been to about 6 horse shows. She really will do any job you ask of her. She currently has steel shoes on but is a very good mover with a great jump.

At the horse shows she has been shown 2'6 - 3'0 but at home she has schooled jumps at 3'9". She is super brave to the jumps so she doesn't necessarily need to see them and has automatic lead changes. She will ground tie as long as there isn't grass right around and if there is some grass, just drop the shank and she will never step on it.

As a racehorse, she ran 13 times before we bought her. She was first 2, second 1, and third 6 times and was stakes placed earning a little of $64,000. When she first arrived, she seemed quiet and relaxed about everything.

We turned her out with about 5 other thoroughbreds and she became low man on the totem pole! She gets along with everyone and stays out of the way when trouble is around. She also has a beautiful foot so there are times when we ride her barefoot and her feet will remain in great shape.

She has never taken a lame step except one time when she abscessed. She is an all around lovely horse that will make anyone love her.
