Deckers Banjo Whiz (aka Decker) is by Roosters Gold Spark, an NRHA and ARHA money earner. He was born and raised at The Ohio State University Equine Facility and has been handled extensively since birth. Decker was started under saddle this semester in the Advanced Equine Behavior and Training class and is progressing nicely with his student trainer. With continued training and experience, should do well in a variety of Western disciplines.

All of the horses that are offered for sale in this years Buckeye Bonanza were born and raised at The Ohio State University Equine Facility in 2018. Since birth they have been handled by students in multiple classes who introduced them to a variety of novel objects and situations (i.e. ground poles, tarps, spray bottles, trailer loading). The horses participated in the Equine Behavior and Training class in Autumn 2020 with students who continued their groundwork and introduced lunging and ground driving. Students in the Advanced Equine Behavior and Training class started these horses under saddle this past February under the guidance and instruction of industry professionals. Due to the lack of an indoor facility in which to work and the wet winter weather this year, these three-year-olds have limited experience loping/cantering under saddle and are suitable for an intermediate to experienced rider at this time.
