This mare is not your usual redhead! “Faith in Jimmy” (Soleil) is a lovely 16.1" chestnut mare who defies the stereotype as she wants to learn and partner with her rider. She's a try-er who thrives on regular work. Soleil is easy to handle and live with - good for the farrier and vet and loads with ease.

I am scaling back my program as I am older and have some health issues and don't have anyone who can ride her regularly. She has so much talent! I see her as an eventer or jumper as she is honest and brave – point her at a jump and she goes. While the video's are of lower jumps, they reflect how she takes care of a less confident rider. For this mare, the bigger the jump, the happier she is.

At 6, Soleil has the world ahead of her, she is lovely on the flat and has an instinctive automatic change. But while she is brave to the jumps and will jump whatever is put in front of her, she is still green and needs someone who can work with her to channel that talent. I would not recommend for a beginner.

Soliel has great confirmation, is good turned out with other mares, not mare-ish. She is sound, up to date on shots and requires no maintence. She has handled the recent move to my new facility well with no fuss, no muss.

I am sad to let her go as this horse makes me wish I were young again and still competing!
